As for unexpected cast, my hopes are on Annie of course, but a Philipp Jeffries played by BOWIE would probably blow me away the most, just because that's what I LEAST expect.

Don's death was a terrible blow when I found out about it back then. What a classy, loving guy. he played a military dad in two of my favorite shows.

After thinking about it, I'm almost tempted to change my answer. If I could hedge my bet I'd put a few chips down on Laura for question 1. Is it "first character we see" specifically, or first character featured? Laura may talk first as a voiceover. Opening credits end, slow fade to _________ with Laura's voice saying ".repooC tnegA ,sraey evif-ytnewt neeb s'tI"
