Really happy for David. A well deserved standing ovation. Especially since FWWM met with such a harsh reception back in the day.

I'm glad it was receved so well at Cannes.
DKL looks nervous and shy in a way in the video above. Maybe overwhelmed an in need of a cigarette
Also, Kyle seems really touched.

Let's be honest, Cannes celebrates the directors. And stars, to a slightly lesser extent. I imagine that's the extent of the reasoning.

If Sabrina Sutherland the Exec Producer was there, as the photo attests, then it's highly surprising that TP's co-creator wasn't there.
