Re: TP3 in 3D?
I posted that as a joke and am very amused that anyone would think it was real. I thought the flashing message on screen to put on your 3-D glasses would be a giveaway?

Re: TP3 in 3D?
I'm very against this. That said, I expected to find evidence that David Lynch opposes 3D usage---you know, like watching movies on your F#$@#@ cell phone! However, Mr. Lynch seems to be very enthusiastic in these clips from 2009 and more recently:

I think 3D is a distraction in creating good art, because it draws attention to itself. The real magic with art happens inside the viewer---it's akin to how the most dramatic scene in a film is often better without music and a good director knows this---it doesn't need music.

Really? He's an open minded guy, a true artist. I'd expect nothing more or less than the answer he gave there.radiofriendly wrote:I'm very against this. That said, I expected to find evidence that David Lynch opposes 3D usage

Am I the only one that finds this so absurd that I hope it's true?

Re: TP3 in 3D?
I have, but I've only seen it in 2d! There's also been guy maddin's forbidden room and herzog's the cave of forgotten dreams, so there definitely are serious filmmakers interested in the possibilities of 3D. Also I find Pixar films tend to work well in 3D. As a general rule, though, it looks terrible.secretlettermkr wrote:anyone saw Godard's absolute MASTER PIECE: Adieu au langage?

Godards take on 3D is groundbreaking, pure Avant-Garde, at his 83 years old, he once again re-invented cinemaDalai Cooper wrote:I have, but I've only seen it in 2d!
