Windom Earle's poem to Donna (Ep. 16)

Post by The Dream Man »

It's never explained how Donna ends up with the final 1/3rd of the poem, right? Audrey's is left at the front desk, Shelly's is left with the tip, but Donna? I don't even think she was in Twin Peaks for the day or two prior.

Didn't Earle give it to her when he went to the Hayward's in disguise?

Nope. That's when he gives her the chess move.

Earle's visit to the Hayward house (bearing the chess deal) was the day after Donna, Audrey, and Shelly's "Meeting of Angels" at the Roadhouse.

I don't recall if we see Donna get her third of the poem, either...

It's implied when she says, "someone asked me to meet him here" at the Roadhouse.

I remember because I was psyched when it was used in the VoiceOver in the teaser in the previous episode, and just assumed it was Audrey after getting Earle's note.
God, I love this music. Isn't it too dreamy?
