How many none Badalamenti/Lynch music was used in the original Series and film? I can only think of Louis Armstrong.

There's 'Pennsylvania 6-5000.' The only other one I can think of is the classical piece that plays in the scene where Catherine reveals to Pete that Andrew is alive - I can't recall the name of the piece but I've heard it outside of 'Twin Peaks.'

I know a snippet from an Edvard Grieg piece was featured during season 2 but can't remember which or when.

In episode 8 Gersten Hayward plays Felix Mendelssohn's Rondo capriccioso, Op.14

"Mairzy Doats", "Get Happy" - anything by DJ LelandBoB.

"Getting to Know You" from the King and I, one of my favourite Leland Palmer moments.
A sort of piano version of "J'attendrai" by Rina Ketty features when Leland tries to dance with Donna too.

I've not seen much chatter about the new opening credits sequence..

What do people think / want?

I'd personally love it to be exactly the same, with the same shots but newly filmed 25 years later.. slow, lingering, same fonts..

Not sure how I'm going to feel when that chord strikes up for the first time again in 27 years over the shot of the bird on the branch..
