Before I was mostly thinking about the supernatural - spirits, the ring, etc. as my excitement of the new series. Surrealism and the mysteries of the lodge.
I mostly forgot about that while watching this trailer. Oh my god, the characters! Then afterward I realized that it will be both; real world people, real world sadness, AND the spirit world. Then on another watch the shot of Carl Rodd drove it all home.
I have chills. This will be a multitude. I guess I suspected that mentally, but this made it all real in an emotional/spiritual way.

Sorry for my rambling, this trailer made me lose my mind for a moment. Those 4 hours might kill me <3

My first thought was 'Hank' but he's not in this new show.

Still something a little off (or maybe just different) about some of the colour grading. The shot of HDS for one.

I have absolutely no understanding for those that are already stating they would not want "Twin Peaks" to continue - even if the ideas were there.
There were many such nay-sayers in the decades between season 2 and 3. Season 3 will exist in spite of those people, I am ecstatic that they didn't get their wish. How about we all wait and see what the new story is like - and where it ends up. Then we can express whether we want more or not.

Just look at shows that drag on too long- Lost being a prime example (although I know some people who liked every minute of Lost- but a lot of us thought it would have been much better as a two or three season show.)
