Deliberate nod to Twin Peaks? or am I seeing what I want to see?

You know, that's interesting. I've personally wondered about that ever since she made the song/video for Paparazzi years ago. "Girls on film in body plastic" and the video also shows her wrapped in plastic at one point. I also wondered if Robin Thicke was playing homage to her/T.P in his video for Blurred lines since all the models were dancing around in plastic skirts resembling the Miss Twin Peaks scene where they're dancing in the same type of thing at the start..
