There's been plenty of discussion about the new characters, so I figured that this subject deserves its own thread. There are way too many new ones, so I tried to include the most substantial. You can choose the 'Other' option and write your pick in the thread. Let's do this!

Hard to choose between Candie and Janey-E, but I think Candie just edges it out by being the apparent leader and spokeswoman for a team of 3 spaced-out pink ladies.

I went with Constance. Honourable mentions to Battlin' Bud and Dave Macklay.

I know he was only in one scene, but Wally Brando could be on your list- I'd imagine he'd get more votes than the likes of Warden Murphy even if he's never in it again.

The woman in the car screaming at Bobby with the zombie kid deserves a mention from me even though she's not substantial enough to be on the list- she stole the show!

had to give my vote to Bushnell Mullins. loved him from episode 5 and i've only grown more attached to him in every scene since. i have a sad feeling we might have parted ways with Battling Bud for good after part 11, but with this show, you never know.

We see Cooper's doppelganger in the lodge in episode 29, and at the end of that episode in the Great Northern. We see Coop's doppelganger in the Great Northern again in The Missing Pieces. I don't think we can consider the doppelganger in The Return to be a new character, but rather the state of that character after 25 years, just like we see the state of Jerry Horne after 25 years.

Dougie Jones, on the other hand (not Dougie-Coop, but the real Dougie who gets sucked into the lodge), is indeed a new character.

Speaking of Dougie, Jade is also a new character. Although I think she's appeared in only two episodes, she gets a lot of screen time in her first appearance.

I voted for Bushnell too, but I don't think we've parted ways with him yet!

Voted Candie. She's delightful.

If Janey-E doesn't win this truly we are living in a dark, dark, age. But I think I love all of them.

As for Bushnell, the way he's been working out I bet he clocks somebody next episode. Maybe Hutch.

On a side note the characters I'm enjoying the most are the FBI. Gordon, Albert, Tammy, and Diane.

I voted Constance, because the sentimental fool in me really appreciates how she's revealed for us this side of Albert. Of all the things I anticipated about The Return, I never saw this development in the works, and there are a lot of surprising things in the works!
It was a close choice between her and Richard. Despite his recent acts and rage, I keep thinking how he was thrown off balance as Red engaged him in that magic trick. He seemed vulnerable and the actor brings a range of expression to this character.

Does Doris Truman deserve a mention?
