I want it to happen but I'm tampering all expectations.

As a strange aside, the next Great Conjunction (when Jupiter and Saturn meet) takes place in December 2020. The last one was 18 years ago.

I'd be surprised as well, but OTOH isn't she there with the panel? What else can she be doing?

That's what I thought too, and I mostly have reason to believe that. But... it's not all I heard.

Then, unrelated, the aforementioned rumor popped up on Reddit. I thought it sounded like bullshit at the time. Until I didn't, not completely. Could still be bullshit. Didn't come from me!

I've heard there is still around 40 minutes of footage from FWWM that is unreleased. I'd love for Lynch to combine that with any remaining footage from S3. There are S3 scenes listed on the shooting schedule that we never saw on the show. Did they end up filming those though?

I also have a feeling that Lynch would love to do something with Part 8.

I doubt that there’s another forty minutes of FWWM deleted footage, at least not anything significant. Pretty much all the major scenes from the shooting script are in either the film or TMP. I’m sure there are odds and ends, trimmed lines and moments, that could still be cobbled together (like the “bonus footage” of Leo/Jacques/Ronette in Part 17), but probably not much of substance.

I’m definitely curious about what is going to be announced tonight, albeit keeping my hopes very tempered.

So that's PT, right? A couple of hours from now.. Do we expect this to happen at the press interviews or the panel? I have no idea how these kind of things go.

If Lynch is going to be there it has to be some kind of major announcement. But I’m keepinmy expectations low.

There is about 40 minutes left. That's been confirmed to me by someone who worked on TMP.
