And if so, would his doppleganger be good?
Is there a good Richard Horne out there?

Yup. Annie and Good Cooper's baby. Born after Annie came out of the lodge.Wonderful & Strange wrote:And if so, would his doppleganger be good?

Re: Crazy Theory: Does Richard Horne Have a Doppleganger?
For some reason, I didn't get the impression the trap that killed Richard would've killed anyone that walked into it. I think his father being a doppleganger had something to do with it. Richard was hybrid human/doppleganger so somehow his dweller on the threshold able to emanate in this world through him when he was born as opposed to most encountering it as a test in the afterlife at least according to Hawk's lore.
Going further perhaps Linda is Richard's better self?

That is absolutely correct, if we base Doppelganger speculation off of what Hawk revealed to Dale.Ragnell wrote:I think everyone has one.
Cooper:
Have either of you fellas heard of a place called The White Lodge?
Hawk:
Where'd you hear of it?
Cooper:
Well it was the last thing Major Briggs said to me before he disappeared.
Hawk:
Cooper, you may be fearless in this world, but there are other worlds.
Cooper:
Tell me more.
Hawk:
My people believe that The White Lodge is a place where the spirits that rule Man and Nature here, reside.
Harry:
It's a local legend, goes way back.
Hawk:
There is also a legend of a place called The Black Lodge, the shadow self of The White lodge. Legend says, that every spirit must pass through there on the way to perfection. There, you will meet your own shadow self. My people call it "The Dweller on the Threshold".
Cooper:
The Dweller on the Threshold.
Hawk:
But it is said, "If you confront The Black Lodge with imperfect courage, it will utterly annihilate your soul".
