Re: The Collector's Corner
Hey all. Over the next few weeks, I'm going to go through and clean this entire thread so it can remain as sort of a Twin Peaks collectors museum. It will make it a lot more fun to look through.
One thing you can all do for me is the following:
1. When posting items, post the pictures straight to the board using the attach feature. This way if images are taken down at external sites, then there won't be a blank spot where your picture once was.
2. Try not to post links unless you are giving credit to someone for their photos as again, these links can become stale after time leading agin to a broken link.
Commenting is OK, but keep in mind that since I am trying to keep this thread as a "Collectors Museum", I will be doing a semi-regular cleanup on this thread.

Re: The Collector's Corner
You'd better sit down scarredgod! The photo's available from a company called Moviestore (not the same one) that sells high resolution images to publications with (I suspect) copyright clearence because the prices range from £75 for quarter of a page to £200 for a full-page. Moviestore has Fire Walk With Me images I've been looking for for years but I don't want them that badly. They're only scans taken from transparencies at the end of the day, and it's not like I want to publish the pictures! There must be a transparency of Audrey's shoes in existence somewhere in the world for them to have it so that's probably your only hope.
I've just found a picture on my hard drive and I can't remember where it came from (possibly this site) but it's fantastic. It's an Emmy leaflet with a third 'prom' photo of Sheryl Lee on the front.

Here are some that I have never seen before that I lifted from Hollywood.com. I'm almost questioning the one of Cooper. Strange how I never thought to search the online Movie Still shops...

Re: The Collector's Corner
Very interesting. I'll have to go and re-watch that scene again. Here's a Cooper book in French that I've never seen...Brad D wrote:dugpa wrote:Now you have me wanting to pick it up. Do tell.
i dont own the book, but here's the best i can remember:
chris mulkey had been refusing to rehearse the final scene in jail, so while filming chris was apparently very unprofessionally rough with her, and i believe even drawing blood by pinching her face. she and the director apparently had no idea he was planning on this. peggy still seemed pretty mad about it in the book and that probably would have kept him from ever returning to the show. i went back and watched this scene and it looked to me as if the physical part had been edited out.

Re: The Collector's Corner
Here's a piece I've been meaning to post but wanted to wait until I found the longbox CD for Floating into the Night. Man, those are tough to find.
The empty sections in the display would hold more of the Industrial Symphony VHS cassettes (middle) and I assume the two spots up front would hold the Floating and TP soundtrack CDs out of the longbox packaging (remember when that was the "green" option?).
Here's the shipping box
And shipping date, Sept 28, 1990
