35mm film transfer

I have treasured and kept properly stored an original 35mm film trailer of twin peaks fire walk with me for theater previews during the early 90's
just wondering if anyone could guide me in the right direction as far as digitally transferring the film for archival purposes, this probably has some copyright issues, in which case I will just wait patiently ( another 25 years if neccesary) until i can have it played again in a real movie theater..
