I may try to make the Dallas show. At least the second one at 9PM although the chance (chants?) to see DL and LD would be cool. I saw DL in Austin and I gotta admit, that hand movement thing he does is hypnotizing.

At Austin, he took questions from the audience. One audience member told him he was dressed "pretty fly for sixty-one" and "I want your hair". DL laughed and said they got his bio info wrong, he's thirty-one! I knew it!

We can look forward to many more years of DL. Booyeah!
Through the darkness of futures past,
the magician longs to see
One chants out,
between two worlds,
fire walk with me.

The AFI Dallas website corrected the time for the 2nd screening; it'll be at 11pm instead of 9pm.

Tickets for the 11pm screening are being sold through http://www.movietickets.com. They're on sale now.

After being bounced around a few times, IE has vanished off the "coming soon" page for Ritz Theatres in Philadelphia. :-(

The theaters' ownership has recently changed hands. I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it or not.

I was at one of the Ritz theaters this week and can confirm a brief article on IE does appear in the April addition of their "Ritz Filmbill" - a small program/magazine given out to ticket buyers in the theater lobby. It was listed in the "Now Showing" section.

Nobody at the theater could tell me when or if IE would be on the schedule again.

Hey guys. Good news. I seemed to have a very Dale Cooper moment this past Saturday. I went to Ann Arbor and had this gut feeling to go and check what was on the Michigan Theater's up and coming list. To my surprise, there it was: Inland Empire. May 11th. Hadn't heard about it coming nearby, so I'm pretty pumped.

If you live within driving distance, I highly reccommend you check it out in Ann Arbor. The Michigan Theater is a really neat place to check out too; everything feels like you stepped back into the golden age of Hollywood. They even got an organist playing a pipe organ before the show. You can check out the theater details here:

If anyone's going, let me know. We could meet up and chat.

OMG!!! I was driving downtown today in Omaha, and lo and behold, on our only artsy theater, the Dundee Theatre, there it was--INLAND EMPIRE-- playing and those ugly black and white posters. I almost had an accident; immediately called the theater, and they told me it was playing for one week only, today until next Thursday! And NOW they have a website. So wow, I get to see it on the big screen!!!
