Gripe about SINNERMAN on the IE Stdk . . .

Post by Daniel Knox »

Ok. I've seen IE 10 times. I was a projectionist that showed it in Chicago.

One thing that always gave me the chills was that last time she sings: "Don't you know-ho-ho that I need ya....." and it just echoes out into space.

Being familiar with the recording I knew that was something Lynch added and when I saw the track on the soundtrack listed as "Sinnerman (edit)" I was hoping that echo had been added.

But it's not. And it was such a beautiful thing.

Anyone else notice what I'm talking about?

Yes, of course :) I think this version of song is very interesting. Lyrics are a little different from original but still very important (at least for me). I wonder who sings in IE version. Besides, were you notice that black women are without shoes (white whores has shoes) and the blacks dance more expressive than whites... :) The great scene....
