I was reading the IMDb Inland Empire board and there's a thread by a doofus bragging about how the USA will have INLAND EMPIRE released on DVD on June 12. He knows this because it says so on the Wikipedia page for the film.

And the Wiki page also says that Iran saw it's release on April 28!.

I smell stinky. I did some Google searches and turned up nothing verifying the Wiki info. And the only results for a search on "IR International Films Distribution Company" was also the Wiki article.

So I'm tempted to just change the info on the Wiki page because I'm pretty certain it's false. I put a comment about it on the discussion page.

Does anyone know if this is true about IE in Iran? How strange! Anyone managed to obtain an Iranian copy?

I took it upon myself to change the release info Wiki page to reflect reality and verifiable sources. So I erased the Iranian and Italian (stated as July 4) release dates, and changed the USA date (to 8/14).

WallyDanger the italian release date should be correct, the US dvd release is far from the first market the dvd will be released in.

I just read an article where DL said IE was coming out on DVD in August. Can't wait. What a birthday present for me.
