Orchestral piece mislabelled as "Laura Palmer's Theme"

Ahoy there,

Hoping someone here can help me.

A long time ago, I did a terrible thing and downloaded some mp3s of Twin Peaks music.

Recently, when I bought the soundtrack proper, I discovered that what I'd thought was Laura Palmer's Theme was actually something else entirely. Unfortunately, I didn't find this out until after I'd deleted the pirated mp3s.

So I wonder: has anybody come across a fairly generic-sounding orchestral piece mislabelled as "Laura Palmer's Theme" or something similar? It was in 4/4 time, minor key, with strings hitting 8th or 16th note arpeggios to delineate the chords, and a slow, descending melody played on piano and strings.

If anybody can point me in the right direction I'd be most grateful. I've done much googling but to no avail.

You reminded me of how similar to Laura Palmer's Theme the opening of Górecki's 2nd string quartet is...
