New music coming tonight? Predictions?
Maybe we'll finally hear the much-requested "Owl Cave" music.
I also have this feeling there's a "Bookhouse Boys" bundle coming soon, perhaps with the Hank Jennings Theme thrown in there.

Re: Unreleased Twin Peaks Music Announcements - Official Thr
Owl Cave hopefully.
Still feel like a lot of the late second season music is missing. Feel like we need some Windom Earle flute theme music just to at least represent that part of the journey.
Also, I may be the only one that wants a Ben's Civil War Bundle. Remember the writers were fond of the Ken Burns PBS Civil War documentary at the time and that's supposedly how this storyline (for better or worse) was born.
Oh, and every missing FWWM track

Welcome to amateur hour. Looks like an all-nighter, boys.

Well, so if you were to sequence a playlist in episode order, you would place it in episode 8? I mean, yes it appears in a mixed form and maybe slowed down a bit. Would it make more sense to put it in the actual Owl Cave episode? Or the Blackie/Audrey scene at OEJ's?
Oh, why would this track never surface in an sequenced soundtrack release? What am I missing?

My updated top 5 Archive releases thus far:
1) Audrey's Prayer (Synth Version)
2) Owl Cave
3) Annie and Cooper (Sleazy Audrey)
4) Twin Peaks Theme (Nostalgia Version)
5) Freshly Squeezed (Bass Clarinet)

Yes, it's mixed but it's a main theme in those mixes and other tune's are added pieces. And it's almost in full version in this episode (yes, with this extra noise/hiss and other tunes elements) but it's there. And they used it 3 times in ep. 8. So my voice: ep. 8Jerry Horne wrote:Well, so if you were to sequence a playlist in episode order, you would place it in episode 8? I mean, yes it appears in a mixed form and maybe slowed down a bit. I think they judged it's not so prominet as a standalone track compared to others. But I love it.Jerry Horne wrote:Oh, why would this track never surface in an sequenced soundtrack release? What am I missing?
So, Twin Peaks Archive - "24 Hours" next, please

So, we first hear it in the scene near the start with Jerry/Blackie? OK.
I hope we get that version as it's a nice alternate. I'm not holding my breath though.

Only when Giant appears in the Roadhouse to return Cooper's ring.Oh, and do we actually hear Owl Cave when the Giant appears?
Actually this released version is full and it sounds just like in the scene when Cooper read the book about Jupiter & Saturn.
In rest scenes of the series sound different fragments of OWL CAVE

It's a little different (some percussion added at the end in the 4H (Jupiter & Saturn) version.DEniZZrus wrote:Only when Giant appears in the Roadhouse to return Cooper's ring.Oh, and do we actually hear Owl Cave when the Giant appears?

I love the version in episode 8 with Jerry/Blackie. It's basically the same, but there are no twinkling keys and it's slowed down a bit. If that version exists, they probably would have bundled it. Oh well.

You mean there bass added, not percussion? But I guess it's just mix with PACKARD'S VIBRATION tracksome percussion added at the end in the 4H
