DL's exhibitions concerts

Post by Hervé Love »

Hi,

As you must know, Fondation Cartier in Paris organizes some concerts while Lynch's exhibition. The bands have been chosen by Lynch himself.

On sunday 20th of may, Julee Cruise was invited with her band Pluramon. The concert should have taken place outside in the garden of the museum but it rained so much that the team decided to make the concert inside the museum, among the paintings and the drawings !!!
Julee Cruise was just like coming from Fire walk with me, except her hair was black. It lasted 80 minutes and was very impressive. She sang with Pluramon and, at the end, sang two titles from FWWM. 300 people who had the chance to buy the tickets were really upset when Julee began to cry at the end... Coming from Cannes, David Lynch was here and seemed to be very happy...

The day after (means tonight), Au Revoir Simone was invited. David Lynch and Emily Stoffle came, sitting on the first raw. The band played 45 mn inside (Paris is under the rain this week !). Their concert has been a great success.

Now, we are waiting for Barry Adamson next friday !!!

Bye from Paris !
