Eraserhead 2007 soundtrack release

Post by snikgrif »

I see on amazon.co.uk, that a new release of the Eraserhead soundtrack is ready for pre-ordering. It looks like a straignt re-issue of the last album. Anyone who has this or heard it, what do you think? On amazon reviews there seems to be mixed feelings. Some feel it puts them right into Henry's crazy world, and think it's great, others feel cheated because it is too short.

I haven't heard of this being anything other than what's already available. I like the album - but it's far from your traditional soundtrack album - it's a lot of atmospheric and industrial noises - but if you've seen the movie you should know exactly what to expect.

Perhaps it is a re-release of the DL.com store version including a "surprise bonus track" according to it ? Anyone knows ?

By the way, what's this so-called special bonus track ?

I'm pretty sure it is the same one as the DL.com version.

I'm not going to give away what the bonus track is, but I will say that it is something made by DL and John Neff for the CD.

It is kind of funny, and kind of cool.
