Here's What David Lynch is Doing Now

Post by Annie »

Well, Here’s What David Lynch is Doing Now

Sometimes David Lynch wants us to take what he’s doing seriously, which is not always the easiest thing to do. After all, he’s the man behind the Lady in the Radiator (Eraserhead), the Man from Another Place (Twin Peaks), and this entire movie. Then there’s his philanthropic endeavors, such as the not-for-profit David Lynch Foundation, which seeks to accomplish the very noble (providing educational tools to at-risk inner-city children, homeless people, U.S. veterans, Native Americans, prisoners, etc.) through curious means (via transcendental meditation). And he’s got quite a few famous friends on board to help him out.

David Lynch Foundation Music has officially released "Download For Good: Music That Changes the World" via ITunes. The thirty-three track compilation features a practically comprehensive list of popular and once-popular contributing musicians such as Tom Waits, Iggy Pop, Nancy Sinatra, Peter Gabriel, Ben Folds, Donovan, and Moby. Oh, and Arrested Development. Yes, that Arrested Development. The album is available for download and the full tracklist is below.
