You're right. A friend of mine who's journalist just told me it has been postponed. I don't know when though.

Heading to Paris next month. Going to see if I can check it out... see what stage it's at! Sounds really interesting. I'll have to try and get in once it's finished.

According to the French newspaper Le Figaro, the "Silencio club" is expected to open on the 27th of august.

To sum up, it is said that Lynch has decided to create "a secret and mysterious place" in the French city, where he's used to work his lithographies (read the http://www.dugpa.com/forum/viewtopic.ph ... 1&start=15 ).
He creates this place with the "Social club" team, very famous and selected "electro-house-rap club" from Paris.
The Silencio-club is about 700 square meters, kind of cellar-night-club with a library/bookshop, a "golden bar" and a dancefloor with a stage. "We could imagine we are in a Hollywood movie" says the journalist.
There are a small cinema (with 24 seats), a restroom with a combination of mirrors and a "fumoir" with metal rods enlightened by optical fibers. Interior decoration has been made by David Lynch himself and edited by French craftsmen Domeau & Pérès.

To conclude, the article precises the Club will open everyday at 6pm for "members belonging to creative community of Paris" to watch a movie, see a private concert or a reading. After 11pm, the club will be opened to "selected" people who wants have a drink, eat "finger food" or dance with the very happy few of "300 clubbers".

We're going to Paris at the end of September. We'll DEFINITELY be going!!!!!!

I checked it out end of last month. Didn't seem to be much going on and it was lashing down with rain.. but still, I was excited to see it.

I'd love to be able to go. Unfortunately I don't think I'm very 'select'

Silencio Club opens on the 30th of August.
