Lack of IE feedback on here...
Hi all, I'm a little surprised at the lack of IE feedback on these boards given that it's been making its' way around (selected) cinemas for some time now. Is this simply because most members here haven't seen it yet? Or is everyone too absorbed with their Twin Peaks season 2 sets to care? ;-) I'm j...

Re: Inland Empire - A Personal Review (contains spoilers!!!)
I'll be seeing the film for the second time on Monday, this time with my wife for company who's also a Lynch fan, so it'll be interesting to see if any of my views (above) have changed... That said, I already have a better understanding of the 'story' since digesting the first viewing, and reading ...

Re: Inland Empire - A Personal Review (contains some spoiler
Oh, and it made me want to return to film-making ' something I drifted away from more than 15 years ago as my involvement in music took centre stage! Well, I went ahead and purchased a DV camera + kit / software, etc. Looks like IE has pushed me back into that world... ;-) I'm now working on a soun...

Re: Transfer for Region 2 UK Pilot same as for rest of seaso
I am thinking of ordering the region 2 Season 1 set, but have heard rumor that the transfer for the pilot episode is not up to the same quality as the rest of the episodes on the DVD. Can anyone who has this set confirm whether or not this is true? If the transfer is, in fact, inferior, is it bette...

I've pretty much resigned myself to ordering the US set, as it seems to be the most economical way of getting the whole of Season 2, (plus I too prefer to have the whole series in a single box). Where are most UK folks ordering from? So far the best deal I've seen on the US set is this: £26.99 deli...

On mine all the print on the box is in German, except the title 'Twin Peaks'. On the discs it is in English, except for two small tags, one in Spanish and one in German stating some legal mumbo- jumbo. Other than that there is no other text in the 2.1 set. Thanks for the info. I have just noticed t...

The only thing is - the cover is in German... Is the main text in German, or just the 'small print' on the rear? I ask because I've seen other overseas (Region 2) versions advertised with English cover text: Dutch: (6 x disc) http://img512.imageshack.us/img512/6792/00000p1193988frontvn1.jpg Denmark...

It's possible that UK may be waiting to do the Complete Mystery set. I have several inquiries out there but so far I am getting absolutely nothing. I sincerely hope that's not the case, as I already have the (excellent) UK Season 1 set, including the pilot, and don't wish buy it again simply to get...

Inland Empire - A Personal Review (contains some spoilers)
Well, I saw Inland Empire two nights ago, and I still don't know quite how to describe the experience - but I'll try. First off, this is clearly the most experimental work David has produced since his pre-Eraserhead days. In fact it makes Eraserhead seem almost mainstream Almost. Technical Feedback:...
