Re: Episode 28
-I LOVE Shelly & Donna goofing off and sharing a cigarette in the back of the chorus line. Blink and you'll miss it but a classic little character (or maybe just actor) moment. I'm so glad someone else's noticed this! It seems every time Shelly and Donna share a scene, Donna commandeers the cig...

Re: Windom Earle's poem to Donna (Ep. 16)
Earle's visit to the Hayward house (bearing the chess deal) was the day after Donna, Audrey, and Shelly's "Meeting of Angels" at the Roadhouse.
I don't recall if we see Donna get her third of the poem, either...

Re: The Lynch/Frost collaboration
The one thing I recall is something to the effect of "Well, we are calling it Twin Peaks after all, so we will be visiting the town. Maybe not the whole time..." (I should find the exact quote, but that's the best I can paraphrase for now). "It’s safe to say that things will happen i...

Re: Episode 27
Also love the eerie scene when the camera slowly pan backs as Cooper and Annie talk in the diner, culminating in the shattered plates and that close-up shot of syrup or coffee (or syrup-like coffee) dripping like blood. I couldn't agree more. I love all of these things. That slow crawl through diff...

Re: What if the mystery had never been solved?
I agree that, given that the killer WAS revealed, the handling of the reaction (or lack thereof) of the townsfolk and the series as a whole proved the grossest misstep. Regardless of WHEN the reveal was made, the town should have reacted accordingly. The blog that LostinTheMovies posted, http://ente...

Re: The Lynch/Frost collaboration
I've even considered that we might be outside of the town of Twin Peaks for some of the time. Mark Frost suggested that we'll see events outside the town: "It’s safe to say that things will happen in Twin Peaks that you’ll see. Not necessarily all will be there but yeah, we are going to call i...

Re: Distinguishing Fire Walk With Me from The Missing Pieces
I think the fan edit is a pretty cool experiment. I'm a big supporter of fan interactivity and participation in art. I honestly tend to loathe fan art. On the other hand, I'll confess to really, really enjoying the second of Q2's extended FWWM edits. I don't feel the additional footage detracts fro...

Re: Episode 22
I was wondering if anyone knows what language Thomas Eckhardt and his assistant are speaking (and what they’re saying) in the Great Northern lobby after Eckhardt phones Josie. I always thought they were Afrikaner but I'm not sure. Afrikaans is the language. http://www.dugpa.com/forum/viewtopic.php?...

Re: Last of the Mohicans connection
Well, Annie said she was quoting Chief Seattle, so the Native American connection there was pretty blatant. "I'd like to quote these words from Chief Seattle, leader of the Suquamish tribe. 'Your dead are soon forgotten and never return. Our dead never forget the beautiful world that gave them ...

Leland dies in episode 16. Maddy dies in episode 14. You must've skipped over it somehow.

Re: Firewalking
The phrase is always spoken with a pause, as in, "Fire, walk with me." Margaret believed that "fire is the devil, hiding like a coward in the smoke." Mike spoke of the FWWM tattoo as having symbolized being "touched by the devilish one." There is certainly a devilish th...

The wren (or thrush?) from the opening sequence was also filmed at the Kiana!

I realize you're looking for OTHER recommendations in the area, but this is a great resource for filming locations: http://www.intwinpeaks.com/2008/02/locations.html
