Re: Josie Packard in final episode
This issue came up on Twitter today, and I swear that I've seen a photo of Josie's body laying on the red room floor with her head and shoulders are under the red curtain. I remember when I saw the photo I thought "Oh yeah, this is what Frank Silva was talking about in that old festival footage...

Re: Twin Peaks: TV Series Stills - Post Your Photos Here!
I've never been a fan of upscaled images. It degrades the photo and makes it look more painted.

Re: black lodge venus
I've never researched statuaries, but just wanted to add that I also see it known as the Venus de Medici (it's got the "de" added).

Re: Twin Peaks: TV Series Stills - Post Your Photos Here!
Other than some of them needing a little color correction, every one of these photos is amazing to see! Thanks for taking the time!

Re: The Great Northern according to The Simpsons!
Everything you've stated (and including the architecture) would indicate that the Simpsons are referencing the hotel from The Shining just as much if not more than the Great Northern in Twin Peaks. I'm still not seeing that they were intentionally referencing Twin Peaks.

Re: Twin Peaks in 1080p on iTunes
For some reason, I can't actually play the 1080p versions from within iTunes. I thought 1080p could play on the new iPad, Apple TV, and iTunes, but mine says it's unable to play. Instead, I just open up Quicktime, and play through that. Is everyone else having this same issue? This is just purely tr...

Re: ERASERHEAD Filming Locations
I know this is months late, but I was just curious about some of these filming locations as well. Brad, I know Josh knows some of these, if not all. Have you talked to him since last you posted in this thread?

Yeah, I'm not sure I see any definitive reference to Twin Peaks.

Re: FWWM Bluray Japan (Region A) 13th July 2012
I have had in depth conversations with executives at New Line as well as MK2 where I was told that their teams were in charge of the video transfers and that Lynch was not brought on to supervise either due to scheduling conflicts or cost associated with paying Lynch to be involved. Do you require ...

Re: Eraserhead Japanese Blu-ray
I love that it's in a black Blu-ray case. I've always been surprised that companies don't match case color to the artwork... to make it blend more.

Re: FWWM Bluray Japan (Region A) 13th July 2012
The MK2 transfer is better than the New Line transfer, but still has issues with color balance in many of the daytime scenes when compared with the original transfers. But how do you know this? How do you know the original transfers were colored differently? (I'm not being argumentative, I'm just c...

Re: northwest passage: a fan edit.
I watched this back when it came out, and I thought it was very well done. I don't find it arrogant at all. It was a task to see if it could be done (and made into widescreen!) and they absolutely accomplished it. Though, it definitely not something to replace watching the true series. It is just a ...

Re: The Straight Story and Mulholland Drive on DVD
Resurrecting this thread from the dead... recently on Twitter, I learned that the video on the FWWM DVD was NOT Lynch approved. I swore I had seen it mentioned on some sites, and this came up as the first link.
So what's the deal, why didn't Lynch approve the video if he did the audio?

Re: FWWM Bluray UK Release 4th June 2012
With the amount of money pledged through Kickstarter.com for the Lynch's "Lynch Three" documentary, I'd think it would be almost as easy for MK2 to start a Kickstarter campaign for the funding to pay Lynch to color correct and remaster these deleted scenes. Lynch's "Lynch Three" ...
