Re: unanswered questions / mistakes / etc.

Yeah, I noticed the film gear and the colored power cables in the Leland fainting scene for the first time in the Bluray./quote] Never noticed it till I read this post. Here is a screen cap. Curious if there are any others out there. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1436427710.140509.jpg Well, it's something...

Re: 'The Secret Lives of Twin Peaks' new novel by M. Frost 2

Apparently delayed until "next year". http://baseballhall.org/news/twin-peaks-co-creator-mark-frost-visits-hall-of-fame/ Hmmm. Since it's not an actual quote from Mark Frost, I have to think that there's somewhat of a chance that it's a simple error. Seems like releasing it in November or...

Re: True Detective

Season 2 premiere episode was a let down. Indeed. I thought it was poorly directed, poorly written, disjointed, and quite ugly (meaning likely uglier than the intended scenic ugliness). The second one was less of a mess, though still not great. It was the same director. Let's hope it keeps improvin...

Re: Which New Actors Would You Cast?

From the looks of things, most of the original cast will likely appear in some capacity. I have no problem with new people and I expect and welcome them, especially the new generation of TP kids, but expecting the regulars (Kyle, Sheryl Lee, etc.) to mostly step back for big stars from other shows ...

Was this meant for the S3 non-spoiler sticky?
People were bitterly arguing about the Exorcist or something. It got to be a bit much, so all that stuff was deleted.

Re: Sleeper host

I wonder what the "evil side" of Coop is even like...I am so curious. Because Coop is just so nice and gentle. I mean he's literally a boy scout. So, this is going to be interesting to see for me in terms of character development,etc...because I am actually pretty fascinated with Coop are...

Re: Sleeper host

Here are a couple of relevant quotes (from separate interviews) from Lynch on Lynch: INTERVIEWER : So, was Cooper occupied by BOB in the script before you changed it? LYNCH : No, but Coop wasn’t occupied by BOB. Part of him was. There are two Coops in there, and the one that came out was, you know, ...

Re: Sleeper host

We all know that now he hosts BOB. I disagree. Lynch has said that good Coop is in the lodge. It is the doppelganger that got out. I'm not the only one who knows Lynch said that in the past, right? Ok, my fault, I assumed doppelganger=possesed by BOB. I've read the Lynch comment, but I don't have i...

Re: Let's talk about Judy

Even though agent Jeffries ask us not to talk about Judy, he himself mentions her couple of times in the original FWWM shooting script. It might not be clear what he's talking about altogether but he's sure that Judy is positive about that. But more importantly, later he refers to that meeting abov...

Re: Let's talk about Judy

Also noticed on the missing pieces after it shows the 6 on the phone post it shows Jeffries getting off the elevator on the 7th floor which is in the FBI headquarters. I know Lynch is big into numbers but I always took this that he was sort of "Between two worlds" between the two floors f...

Re: Blue Rose...Blue Dye

What interests me about the blue rose is the repeated assertion I've seen that blue was explicitly banned from the color palette of the show by Lynch during production - that's a claim repeated in Brad's book by one of the guest directors, possibly Stephen Gyllenhaal? Yet I certainly recall seeing ...

Re: Episode 7

N. Needleman, there is footage out there of the Pete/Catherine scene being filmed. Multiple takes. Sounds like you'd enjoy giving it a look, but I have no idea where to find it. Maybe it was on Vimeo. I'm sure someone must have posted it somewhere on this site. Maybe someone else knows where to loca...

Don't forget Lady Blue Shanghai. Of course it's a commercial, but the imagery is relevant.

Re: Fan edits, fan art, official editing, etc...

I think i remember Lynch saying an extended cut of FWWM was possible now that people were watching films at home on a big screen. I think it was in "between two worlds". Just going by memory, I believe one of the cast members (Grace?) asked if it could be integrated into the film, and Lyn...

Re: Fan edits, fan art, official editing, etc...

P.S. For my own personal enjoyment, I had deftly spliced the "FWWM (saxophone)" intro to the original "FWWM Theme" to create a clone of the version heard in the film. I neither considered it "fan art" nor remotely inappropriate. So there. ;-) Same here. It didn't turn ...
