Re: Episode 2

That opening dinner scene reminds me so much of many of the long lingering shots in TR (Roadhouse sweeper, etc.). It plays slightly more conventionally only because it has credits rolling over it. I’m really noticing and loving the use of “one-ers” this time around. I believe the entire scene of Co...

Re: Twin Peaks Season 3, Star Wars, JJ and Fan Service

Finally watched Rise of Skywalker and had prepped myself to be disappointed because of bad reviews, and I LOVED it. I’m scratching my head as to why many reviews were so critical. I feel like some critics disdain anything that comes across as nostalgic in sequels regardless of quality. Instead of j...

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

I didn't even know there was a "David Lynch Netflix limited series rumor." I heard about him possibly casting a female for something unknown but none of that. Not sure if Dern and Watts and Netflix help with it being Twin Peaks related or not. Dern and Watts might not be Lynch related but ...

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

How long before any of you lose hope for a fourth season? This April? 2021? 2025? For me, if nothing is announced by the 30th anniversary on 4/8, I would have a hard time believing it will come back. Never lose hope. And now before its too late, seems the time to do it. But sadly I don't think anyt...

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

The Straight Story was amazing. One of my favorites as well. So different than Lynch's other movies but still so good. I love the scenes when Alvin and Rose are looking up at the stars. And of course when Harry Dean Stanton sees the tractor. When he says "You ride that thing all the way out her...

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

I want more Twin Peaks so badly....

Showtime and everyone else must realize the demand is there. When the rumors started swirling last year it showed that Twin Peaks is in demand by the masses. Plus they already did amazing at getting subscribers with season 3.

(HHM better not be full of it)

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

But in my opinion, the language that's used to describe the relationship between himself and David seems strained. There are a few moments of candidness that surprised me. That’s too bad. I know that’s been speculated about, but other than the Twitter thing (and the strange lack of any post-TP:TR i...

Sounds very interesting. can't wait to read it. If I had to guess tho, I've been thinking for a while that Lynch wants Twin Pea...

Re: Twin Peaks Season 3, Star Wars, JJ and Fan Service

Those are ongoing (mostly daytime) serials. Where it is organically changing week to week. The reboots or next generations (ha, I guess except ST: the Next Generation) seem to be always greeted with pining for the original cast. I’m not saying I’m right or wrong, just how I view both the SW and TP ...

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

The show might just be suspended so the Box set sells more. But returning after the festival and the festival in general and the location change of said festival are interesting. Odd even.

Re: Twin Peaks 30: Official Fan Celebration (Graceland)

I hope this isn't replacing the Twin Peaks festival that usually happens in North Bend. (wow I guess that was answered with the post above which was sent while I wrote this crazy) I think this is what Sherlyn was talking about but not what HHM claimed. Tho HHM might be full of it. 2020 better bring ...

Re: Twin Peaks: From Z To A 12/10 & The Television Collection 10/15 Blu-Ray & DVD Sets

I think its amazing that Lynch seems to direct his actors in a way that at 1st sounds comical or even cooky. But the actors respect him so much that they give him the benefit of the doubt and try their best to give him what he wants. Lynch does it in a way that he doesn't tell them his full vision, ...
