Re: SPOILERS: The Secret History of Twin Peaks
It seems that there will be so much retconing in Mark's book, that I wonder whether we should consider it canon or not. :? I didn't notice any other Retcons in what I read. Having a Frank Truman brother character is more of a retcon in the traditional meaning of the word, but it doesn't contradict ...

Re: SPOILERS: The Secret History of Twin Peaks
With Big Ed & Nadine, what was the gist of their backstory for those who weren't able to see the pages before they were taken down? (if it's ok to ask in this thread) [/quote] From what I read, it says Ed met Nadine in 1984, some five years before the show took place. What seems to be their fir...

Re: SPOILERS: The Secret History of Twin Peaks
So much new info to take in! I'm reeling. Although I made peace with Robert Forster playing Harry Truman, I'm actually glad that he's playing another character. It makes me wonder if they somehow got Ontkean on board for a secret cameo. It just seems like it would have been way easier to recast Harr...

Re: SPOILERS: Twin Peaks: Season 3 on Showtime SPOILERS Thre
I just realized....with 31 days in January, you could run an episode a day, plus FWWM, dovetailing into an early February premiere. Plus, it fits the original series "every episode is one day" thing perfectly. It's a great marketing opportunity.

Re: SPOILERS: Twin Peaks: Season 3 on Showtime SPOILERS Thre
There is another possibility and that is David creating brand new two hour episode edits. Perhaps 10 two hour episodes that incorporate FWWM and the Missing Pieces. Perhaps playing with chronological order of things? This would allow some of 17 through 23 or so to be gutted. Is the new two hour edi...

Re: 'The Secret History of Twin Peaks' novel by M. Frost 10/
Amazon just listed an audio CD on their site in addition to the hardcover. Anyone have more info on this release? Perhaps we're getting a read by Mark Frost himself and maybe even some of the cast members? :D :D :D Exciting!! It would be cool if Angelo was composing a soundtrack to the novel. Simil...

Re: See You In 25 Years
Just looking at the timing and what we know, it's entirely possible that Jerry Horne (with help from GeekBoy's rumor) caused the revival. 2011. David and Mark having lunch. Mark: Someone on twitter asked if we're bring back TP. It's close to 25 years. David: Hmmm. Well done! I forgot I ever m...

Re: Simultaneous Tweets from David Lynch & Mark Frost
clearly SOMETHING is up....but I swear, if it's to just announce a line of Twin Peaks coffee mugs or something, I'll be so pissed. But the fact they both did the exact same tweet at the same time, knowing it would get everyone's hopes up....I can't believe they'd be that mean to the fanbase. To para...

Re: Twin Peaks Merchandise Wish List
I would pay whatever Sideshow Toys (or a similar company) would ask for if they made this classic image into a statue.

Re: Twin Peaks Merchandise Wish List
I don't much like the toy type of merchandise. I am into the audiobook diary idea, and dutifully requested it back when the idea first arose. I absolutely love the idea of updated Coop recordings. I'd love Lynch and Frost to write a few that take place in the present day. They could be totally fuck...

Re: Questions for Bob Engels
I'd love to hear Bob speak a bit more about the original draft of the FWWM screenplay (before Chet Desmond) and what some of the differences would have been in Cooper's scenes. I mean, presumably Cooper wouldn't have had a brawl with the town sheriff, etc. What were some of the Cooper moments Bob r...

Re: Twin Peaks on Blu-Ray DVD Official Discussion Thread
I was gonna say this. Apparently some of the sets were kept for FWWM, like this one and Donna's house. I wish I knew more about this. Which sets were still standing, why they chose to use some and not others. I'm actually posting some articles about the sets over on "Welcome to Twin Peaks"...

Re: Twin Peaks on Blu-Ray DVD Official Discussion Thread
In the script Norma is left alone in the diner crying after everyone has left, is at this point Ed returns to the diner? Yeah. And he comes in and apologizes for earlier with Nadine, and says they can get together later-setting up the scene with Ed and Norma in the back of the truck at night. Sound...

Re: Twin Peaks on Blu-Ray DVD Official Discussion Thread
Finally someone has compiled a complete list of all the deleted scenes featured in The Missing Pieces :D Seems we get 30 scenes in total... Yay! http://www.nerdist.com/2014/07/review-twin-peaks-the-missing-pieces/ Only scenes not mentioned in this review which I thought for sure would be featured a...
