Re: Theories & Speculation (SPOILERS)
he's talking about the end of the show and how the ending reflects the era we're in now; if we were in the golden age, the finale would reflect that. However, we're not, so it didn't. It's in reference to an earlier question on Hinduism: https://www.reddit.com/r/twinpeaks/comments/7ykhmp/all_lynch_p...

Re: Part 17 - The past dictates the future (SPOILERS)
the shape that Mr C's face turns into is the back of Mr C's head. It's his hair tucked back in the hair clasp.

Re: Black Lodge/White Lodge mythology
Black Lodge/White Lodge mythology Anyhow, he enters the furnace-room with key 315, where he "joins" MIKE (the one armed man, a denizen of The Waiting Room). Now, wait a minute. What the heck, he meets and greets this creature without any constraint? Where is this? Not kindergarten, is it?...

Re: Did Cooper really fail? Was Laura really supposed to die?
I don't think he failed so much as he's been seemingly left adrift and possibly in big trouble. We haven't seen what happens next, and we'll probably never know. I'm willing to accept that he failed, it seemed to be Frost's read on it, but I don't buy the Coop fatal flaw stuff. Everything he did fol...

Re: Black Lodge/White Lodge mythology
Phillip Jeffries remains a mystery. He might actually be trapped in the Convenience Store, and when he leaves re-appears in 1989, asking Gordon who Cooper is. The circumstances of his situation remain very vague, so it's hard to extrapolate many conclusions from it. I'm happy to remain vague on Jef...

Re: Black Lodge/White Lodge mythology
i'm fascinated by Coop's experience of time in there. We know he learns some Lodge tricks so time passes in some way for him, Lynch's comment on the bts sheriff station to Kyle that 'no time has passed for you' is just a throwaway comment but it piqued my interest; I kind of took it as being that al...

I love the Sax/Rhodes mix, maybe even more than the version we heard in The Return.

Re: Cooper's conversation with The Fireman in episode 1 (linear and non-linear approaches)
I now really think that the conversation is that last thing (chronologically) that we see in the series. Cooper is very far away. He is asked to remember Richard and Linda from his past. i.e. this scene somehow shows us a future Cooper in peril being guided by the Fireman to get out of it. I think ...

Re: Twin Peaks: Season 3 on Blu-ray 12/5/17
I love the direction he gives to Kyle in the Sheriff's station, 'no time has passed for you'. Nice little hint that whilst Coop has spent twenty five years in there (and maybe has those years worth of experience/Lodge knowledge, he's essentially been on pause and has no problem remembering where to ...

Re: Mark Frost Q&A
Most intriguing tidbit to me, the comment about the girl in episode 8... what is he trying to say there ? I’ve always had a feeling she was Sarah and I think many others did too .. is he saying we are right ? That it should be obvious who it is if you’re paying attention ? Hmmmm Bring on the blu ra...

Re: Mark Frost Q&A
It actually balances out really nicely, Frost being relatively forthcoming and Lynch super-schtum as always. You get enough hard info to enhance your enjoyment of the show but the mystery always remains.
