Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?
I don't think Rodd meant anything supernatural and of course he is not any supernatural being himself. He is just what he looks. But he senses things. People in Twin Peaks sense things, actually people everywhere sense things they don't understand but somehow are aware of them. In the world of Twin ...

Re: Peaks Fans Top 15 Movies
Couldn't do it with TV shows but here's a whole different story. After all I've been a huge cinema-freak for over 30 years. Let's say the list below is not any valid top-15 of my favourite movies but just - what I'd like to share right here, right now. 8 1/2 (Fellini) - if there's a film I think tha...

Re: Least Favorite Storyline in Twin Peaks
Good point. A lot of what you've listed aren't even storylines - theyr'e just scenes. Some of them I actually did like, say: the gunshot at the Diner and the woman in the car outside others I didn't. But I'd have to think of what could be given the name 'storyline'. Andy/Lucy was my first thought. N...

Re: Peaks Fans Top 10 TV shows
I'm in no position to make a list of the best TV shows - I have watched hardly any of even the most famous ones. No time. If I want to try, I rarely go beyond a season 1 of anything. Which is also why the mini-series format is good for me. A few things, though: - whatever else I'd try to watch, Twin...

Re: What is your Twin Peaks unpopular opinion?
Bah! It's been ages since I watched Episode 22 as well!
Can't say I'm much of a Twin Peaks watcher these days
But I believe it's just a temporary condition.

Re: Least Favorite Storyline in Twin Peaks
Can we add twenty-three more additions from The Return to the choices? That was my thought, too. I have probably written a multitude of posts in my life about why little Nicky is worse than Evelyn and how Dougie/Lana sucks and Ben's civil war doesn't. But I don't think I have a clear answer to what...

I like Episode 22

Re: To the Profoundly Disappointed: Are You Still Disappointed?
I've always considered myself the less profoundly disappointed of the Profoundly Disappointed community. Yet, I belonged there and still do. What more can I say than - I have never forced myself to rewatch all of it. "Force myself" is actually the key word: disliking a lot of The Return is...

New Skin For The Old Ceremony, if you asked me
Haven't been on the board for a longer while but since holidays have just started, why not go back to one's roots and take a look at what's happening in the good old world of Twin Peaks?

Re: TP:TR. Full 18-hour experience
Nowhere near an 18 hour watch, of course, but lately I have come across parts 10-18 screened on HBO one by one (as far as I've seen even without commercials between, however including all the opening and closing credits). I suppose parts 1-9 had been on the previous day or week. Anyway, I tuned in a...

Re: Poll: Worst Roadhouse performance
I also wish the headline for this thread could be "Best Roadhouse Performance". I think there is place for both here? Anyway here's the thread you might be looking for, perhaps. It's probably more positive than negative. I have to say that while I don't spend much time at all thinking abo...

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)
Do any of the disappointed left in this thread feel that it's all done and gone now, all over? Literally it is but for me the first two series stood in high stead in my mind for 25 years and only grew in stature over the years. We're a few weeks after the last episode aired and it's already a footn...

Re: What were the most impactful scenes of TP:TR?
You guys mention a lot of scenes that I seriously didn't like
To each their own!
For the moment, without any rewatches, I would pick the "purple room" as the best sequence (longer part) and Dougie's dinner with the Mitchums as the best single scene.

Re: Favourite Music from the TP Collection to Date
I got completely lost in all those releases of Twin Peaks music - album-wise I stick to the original soundtrack, the FWWM soundtrack and Julee Cruisse's Floating Into The Night. Of all the rest I've listened to, like, 5% perhaps?.. But I do know Twin Peaks and its music... so why not take part! 1. W...

Re: Poll: Worst Roadhouse performance
I don't know how to vote here - for me by far FAR the worst Roadhouse sequence was the Julee Cruisse one. But it wasn't "the worst performance", it wasn't a performance at all, it was... what, a big middle finger to Julee and that's all I have to say about it. The performance as such that ...
