Hahaha-thank you. That would be a really tough task for a litany of reasons.
I would also love to see this.

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this? Wisteria/Unrecorded Night? Something else? (Speculation thread.)

Is anybody else afraid that if we ever get the confirmation that something is happening, Twin Peaks or not, a big part of the fun would be gone? What could kill the mystery more than David Lynch's announcement that they are making Twin Peaks season 4 indeed? It would be like Christmas: yes, the mom...

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this? Wisteria/Unrecorded Night? Something else? (Speculation thread.)

I think the conclusion of season 3 works brilliantly as an ending, but I also have no problem viewing it as a cliffhanger. If we get another season then a part of me will mourn for what felt like a powerful final statement, but I am confident that Lynch (and potentially Frost) will be able to take ...

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this? Wisteria/Unrecorded Night? Something else? (Speculation thread.)

It would be nice if it were John Ford, given the Lynch/Frost use of The Searchers in Twin Peaks. Senior Droolcup is played by Hank Worden, who played the eccentric Mose Harper in The Searchers, and Droolcup repeats the Mose Harper line,“Thank you kindly.” In ep. 29, Worden also performs the whoopin...

Highly disagree, lol. Regardless, AI is one of my favorites, and it's the last one he had a hand in writing, which aside from the personal nature of the new film is why I'm excited for it.

I'm also very excited about this. It's a very personal project for Spielberg, and the first movie he's had a hand in writing in 20 years. Lynch playing a role in it seems surreal, for many reasons.

Re: Parts 1 & 2 - My log has a message for you & The stars turn and a time presents itself (SPOILERS)

I can’t recall — has there been any discussion about the gold/yellow object Judy/Experiment seems to be holding when she first appears? It’s so blurry, but the object appears to move with her (as opposed to being a reflection in the glass or something banal), and then she works her hands and it dis...

Re: Peaks Fans Top 10 TV shows

As far as Dexter goes, I also highlight the same seasons as being, easily, the best: 1, 2, 4 and 7. The revival is fun just to see where they took it and how it will end, and is somewhat unexpectedly very much in line with small town series like Twin Peaks and Fargo, even directly referencing the l...

Re: Peaks Fans Top 10 TV shows

My list - somewhat updated: 1. Twin Peaks (easily has the top place, primarily the original series, I'm 50/50 on The Return but I still do like parts of it despite my criticisms of it) 2. Lost (not so much the last season or some of its frustrating loose ends but still think it was great) ^ Top two...

Re: Peaks Fans Top 10 TV shows

Yeah. I was a big big fan. But I couldn’t t believe the final episode came from the same creator. To me it was like bad fan fic. Oh, oh… Veep is also one of the best written shows of the past decade. And I thought the second season (nine years later) of The Comeback genius. I'm very curious as to w...

Re: General Discussion on Season 3 (All Opinions Welcome)

Ha. And not only is much of the info withheld by the FBI, but revealed by the only man who would know the whole story, double-director David Lynch himself. The endless games this series plays are equal sources of fun and frustration. Not to mention the fact that this monologue of exposition is bein...

Re: To the Profoundly Disappointed: Are You Still Disappointed?

Attempting to find an intriguing thread in the Return is almost impossible for me. Amen. Leland's pain and struggle in the original was real. Not much real stuff going down in TR apart from the captivating scenes with Sarah, Dougie looking at Sunny Jim with sadness and a few other scenes I can't th...

Re: General Discussion on Season 3 (All Opinions Welcome)

It's a hard pill to swallow, but another horse-pill comes right after in the form of the previously unrevealed intimacy between Diane and Cooper. At a certain point, although it's pretty plainly contrivance born out of the endless mitigating circumstances of cancellation and actor death or non-part...

Re: To the Profoundly Disappointed: Are You Still Disappointed?

I live in the northern suburbs of Georgia, U.S.A. and people lay on the car horn here all the time. It's nuts: I've had people swear at me, give me the middle finger, give other people the middle finger, chase other people down, threaten, scream, etc. The other day in Florida a pregnant woman delib...

Re: To the Profoundly Disappointed: Are You Still Disappointed?

I think the show often sounds better and much more layered in the forum comments than the actual show which just doesn't feel to me like a carefully designed puzzle box (some of it does, such as Coop's journey, but a lot of the side stories just do not). Many of the complex meanings attributed to i...
