Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)
Anyone notice the continuity error from the text that DoppleCoop sent Diane? Two different time stamps between cuts, one from an iMessage and one from a Text Message. Haha. Probably not relevant. Didn't spot that. The one that got me was the drone shot when Hutch & Chantal arrive at Dougie's. Y...

Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)
So maybe for all these years Cooper's tape recorder has really just been sending updates to the white lodge/mauve room. Tape recorder, magnetic tape, electrical energy. Who knows. Not sure why the Fireman would want to know what he ate for lunch everyday though. In any case, makes at least as much ...

Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)
Oh, and this also makes the whole Richard and Linda, two birds with one stone clue much more cryptic... If we just saw Richard get fried into oblivion (and still aren't sure about WHO Linda is), how does the ONE STONE come into play? (Unless those same coordinates somehow come into play RE: Linda)....

Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)
What do we make of the guy who dispatched Hutch and Chantal? Was that "random" and just an exercise in subverting expectations? Felt like maybe more, but I'm at a total loss. Yeah, I think he's just a jerk with a gun. I'd call it road rage, except he wasn't exactly driving. Curb rage, may...

Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)
No idea! But after reading the AC Club review, at least one person agrees with me that the accountant was kind of curious--even if we're both wrong! Hahaha. (I tend to like the observation someone shared here earlier, that they were undone by just the type of American citizen they were opining abou...

I love how we got the first full version of the title theme as Coop bursts back into the world.

Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)
One of my fav scenes so far:
Cole looking around mystified by all the equipment, like, "What's all this stuff for?"
Seems kind of a meta-commentary on "how the hell are they going to wrap this up?" -- and then he asks us to hold his beer.

Wow.
The hit-persons & hit-accountant scene was hysterical.
"I am the FBI".
"Audrey's Dance".
This was insane!
I don't want this show to end.

I'm perplexed by the use of "cock tease", when "tease" would quite adequately, and rather more accurately, sum up what you seem to be saying.Voltaire wrote: Another cock tease ...

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)
For our American friends, it's the equivalent of watching a British drama and the only American character is a fat, obnoxious loudmouth who constantly exclaims 'Gee Whiz!', 'Real Neat!' or 'Hot Dog!' Offensively bad. I completely agree with your broader point but, amusingly, I can think of one Amer...

Re: Part 14 - We are like the dreamer (SPOILERS)
Loved the episode, aesthetically brilliant throughout. The roadhouse scene with that music had me somehow incredibly tense. I hope the final four parts are as good as this one. I also hope that the wherever the story goes, and I have literally no idea (which is ridiculous/great at this point) doesn...
