Re: Part 15 - There's some fear in letting go (SPOILERS)

I re-watched this last night with my girlfriend. Probably my favorite episode. So much happens in this one! One lingering question: why does Evil Cooper only see an apparition of Jeffries? The Convenience Store people protecting Jeffries maybe? Or Jeffries protecting himself? Really cool how that sc...

Re: Why so little of Grace Zabriskie?

I thought there was just enough of her. The scenes she was in I thought were creepy and memorable, and she never overstayed her welcome (although I'm still not 100% sold on the bar scene, that has more to do with the writing than her acting, which was superb as always).

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)

As one of the former profoundly disappointed, I kind of like the Bob-Freddie scene now... there's also a build-up to it over the season that totally flew over my head. Lynch was hinting at it as early as the premiere, showing him at the Roadhouse with that slick green glove in plain sight.

The first Cooper-Woodsmen scene with Ray. Sublime stuff.

Re: Parts 1 & 2 - My log has a message for you & The stars turn and a time presents itself (SPOILERS)

I never remember it being revealed Duncan is a tulpa. Where did you get that? oh. i guess it's never stated outright. at the very least, cooper's, what, blackmailing him, or holding something over his head? later in the season, his bullet wound from chantal looked so completely fake that i assumed ...

so i watched the premiere again right after finishing the season... just a couple quick, random thoughts (spoilers!): cooper and phyllis were seeing each other? i never put two and two together until hastings mentioned that there was "maybe somebody else" or something along those lines, i...

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)

What I don't understand is any long time Peakster who could not take something of value from the show. You may hate Wally Brando, but certainly you could at the same appreciate the Purple Room scene, a worthy successor to the Black Lodge scenes of 1991, or all of Episode 8, and the eerie humor of t...

Re: What Other Directors/Actors Think of Season 3

Some people think that Lynch was inspired by the director Neil Breen in terms of season 3 to a big extent. Check it out!
Lol, I highly doubt that, unless Lynch specifically said as much.

Re: New Stand-alone Parts of Twin Peaks?

i'd be cool with a "twin peaks tales" kind of thing, but it seems more like something frost would be into directing than lynch Frankly, a lot of The Return felt like a series of separate ‘Twin Peaks Tales’ haphazardly intertwined, so why not do some more random shorts? I meant more like a...

Yeah, bummer about the card sleeves. Guess I'll have to look into ordering poly sleeves that hopefully can fit inside them.

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)

It was definitely one of the weirdest, most fucked up things ever made for premium television.

Whether or not that translates to "good," of course, is open to interpretation.
