Re: What Did Laura Whisper?
For some reason, this popped in to my head while I was out for a walk and I can’t get it out so decided to post it “You’ll find me at Judy’s” My figuring is that led him to stop at Judy’s Diner, but she wasn’t there. Because he doesn’t find Laura at Judy’s Diner, he finds directions to Carrie. And ...

Re: Episode 17
The opening Sarah scene of this episode feels very different to watch in light of Season 3. There’s now this feeling, to me, of an underlying menace in the way she says some things.

Re: Part 8 - Gotta light? (SPOILERS)
The most interesting thing to me was the helicopter(or at least what appears to be a helicopter) and fire in the concept for the Home by the Sea. I wonder if it was creative, practical, or a financial decision to not include them. Yes, I forgot to mention the heicopter! That definitely would have c...

Re: Part 8 - Gotta light? (SPOILERS)
Couple of concept art pieces by Lynch from the BUF Peaks Season 3 Demo Reel Very cool. It’s worth watching the whole demo reel in full. Several effects can be seen in their original versions before DKL color timed them, meaning in several cases (frogmoth, the house by the sea, the Bob-orb rising ou...

Re: TP:TR. Full 18-hour experience
Thank you for your post. It seems that we largely agree that the 18 hours view makes the whole thing much more coherent (and faster!). I also agree on your comment on Dougie. For some reason it doesn’t seem that we see him on screen that long at all, and it makes Coop’s return to regular brain acti...

Re: What Other Directors/Actors Think of Season 3
Some people think that Lynch was inspired by the director Neil Breen in terms of season 3 to a big extent. Check it out! Apologies for taking the thread OT with this response, but I was discussing the relation of Breen and Lynch with a friend the other day. I think people like Breen, Tommy Wiseau, ...

Re: TP:TR. Full 18-hour experience
as the MOMA in NY gets a screening in January January 5: Part 1-4 January 6: Part 5-11 Janury 7: Part 12-18 Would that order be advisable? I dont see how i can watch all 18 episodes on a single day. Man, I'd love to live close enough to attend that! That's a pretty good break up, but I'd actually s...

Re: TP:TR. Full 18-hour experience
After completing the journey, I have so many thoughts that they're just going to get bullet pointed. - It really is such a smooth experience as a whole. No scene feels too long when you're watching the whole thing. It makes me wonder if they should have either dropped it all at once or done 2 - 3 ho...

Re: POLL: The Nature of Audrey's Situation (Spoilers)
Can someone give a quick explanation of what Fenn was complaining about? Was it that she didn't have a bigger part (as I think I read)? What I recall is that she was the one championing Lynch coming back to the show, so it's surprising she would be so self-centered to complain. My understanding is ...

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)
Wow, I’m surprised CBS let that footage onto the discs. It cuts against the “creator-friendly network” vibe Showtime has been trying to cultivate with this show. I'm wondering if Lynch/Jason S. had final cut on the documentary. It contains a lot of really blunt straight forward stuff. There's a poi...

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)
I’ll get to April, go away for four-to-five months and actually reassess everything. So in a backhanded way I almost owe Lynch a vote of thanks; his show was so bad that I’ve realised I detest the very industry his previous works tempted me into! Thanks for the midlife crisis, Davey-boy!! ;) I'm gu...
