Re: Double R Jukebox Records
Rewatching episode 5 I spotted another shot of the jukebox just before Maddy enters the diner. It might be a slightly clearer shot of the 3 sleeves on the right, although the centre sleeve is still mostly covered.

Re: Episode 2
'Night Ed!' - it's been mentioned before that this might be Lynch. Certainly sounds like him. Another thing previously mentioned is the chronology of the Pete & Catherine bedroom scene - from their conversation, this should really have taken place the night before. It’s scripted to be the prior...

Re: Episode 4
Another winner, although surely Gerard could press charges for police harassment - having finally tracked down the man they want to question for no discernible reason, the police kick down his hotel room door and point guns at him... Cooper and the llama! Yes! Even the receptionist can be seen laugh...

Re: Episode 3
This is the first episode not to have Frost or Lynch writing or directing, yet feels very much like classic Peaks. After last episode's big cliffhanger, it's a very subdued ending this time which serves as a reminder that the town's guilt and grief are just as important as Who Killed Laura Palmer. A...

Re: Episode 2
Bit of a Rat Pack theme on the RR jukebox: Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and possibly also Sammy Davis Jr (not 100% on this one - there's a note covering much of the sleeve) on display. Which one do you think is Dino? I definitely see ‘This Is Sinatra’ on the left, and next to that is Al Martino’s ‘Pa...

Re: Episode 1
A noticeable shift in tone watching this straight after the pilot. It's a lot warmer, the grief a lot less raw, the town more welcoming. A lot of the quotable dialogue shows up in this episode too. I was going to say it seemed a bit disappointing on this rewatch, but the entire episode seemed to fl...

Re: Episode 2
Between the rock-throwing scene and the repurposed red room sequence, I always feel that this episode is where first-time viewers either bow out or are definitely in for the duration (or in until the reveal of the killer anyway). No prizes for guessing which camp I fall into. Anyway, a couple of obs...

Re: The Pilot
Rewatched this today for the first time in a while and noticed a few things that may or may not have been mentioned before: The calendar at the saw mill suggests the date is Monday 20th Feb 1989. There again, previous weeks look like they've been struck out in a single line, in which case there's no...

^^ Somewhat similar to the dubious arithmetic that turns Doppel Coop's comment about being 25 years Richard Horne's senior into proof that Richard is 25 years old.

Re: Twin Peaks actors who have passed on/Pilot details and cast
Such sad news. I interviewed her a few years ago for Jerry's Twin Peaks Archive site and remember having a really good conversation with her. RIP.

Re: Part 14 - We are like the dreamer (SPOILERS)
That scene of Gordon talking to Lucy still gets a gut reaction from me of pure joy. We've gone so many Parts with Twin Peaks seeming completely cut off from Cooper's storyline, the FBI storyline, etc., despite so much that happens in those storylines revolving around the town. That withholding of a...

Re: Episode 21
Funny piece of trivia: If you listen closely to James’s phone call with Ed in the prior episode (or read the subtitles), Ed says James only has $12 left in his savings account! Donna drove all that way to give him $12. I wonder how much she spent on gas. I'd always wondered about this too (not to m...

Re: Episode 18
I think we also see Pete with champagne in the scene where he raises a toast with Catherine in Blue Pine Lodge shortly after Josie becomes their maid. For some reason it's the Josie-as-a-maid story that's seemed the most ridiculous on recent watches, although it didn't seem so out of place at the ti...
