Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

Wasn't there an article where Laura Dern mentioned that David wanted her to shave her head for his next role for her? That has to be related to this.

The Roadhouse shooting was actually five consecutive shoot days. :)

Re: Part 10 - Laura is the one (SPOILERS)

know people were theorizing way back when that the guy in the photo with Mr. C is Charlie. I think this guy looks taller and thinner than Charlie, and it’s just a random scientist. Do people still think it might be Charlie though? It would certainly be an interesting thing to think about, if it wer...

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

He doesn’t exactly deny the rumor about a secret Netflix show. First he deflects, then he outright says the rumor is false, but then adds: “It’s a rumor that even if it was true — there’s nothing happening,” presumably referring to the current situation. Even still, that wouldn't be more Twin Peaks...

Re: Re-Airing of Pilot w/ original commercials on Twitch at 8 pm ET (4/8/20)

Looks like https://www.twitch.tv/coronteevee is now showing episode 5 of the original Peaks. One strange thing I'm seeing so far -- the opening credits lists director credits for a Part 1 (Lesli Linka Glatter) and a part 2 (Caleb Deschanel) while Cooper is getting coffee in the Great Northern... wh...

Did the channel and/or a fan record it so people can see it that missed it?

Re: Deleted Scenes

Re-posting this from the Season 3, The First Draft - Speculation etc. thread, in case anyone missed it there. I would love to see these scenes! An incredibly fascinating tidbit from the newly published Twin Peaks Unwrapped book. Please go buy this book! The authors are such good guys and it's very t...

Re: The Bob/Leland relationship

I’ve always thought of Bob as this parasite or virus that sort of amplifies and rewards Leland’s darkest thoughts (or maybe more like a drug). Maybe Leland was abused (as he says) and deep within his psyche he wants/needs to continue the cycle of abuse, so Bob moves from the abuser into Leland and ...

Re: The Bob/Leland relationship

In David Bushman’s new interview book, Mark comes down pretty unequivocally (with a teeny bit of wiggle room) that the actions were Leland’s own, driven by pathology rather than Bob being responsible, although he acknowledges the validity of either interpretation. It’s interesting that he feels thi...

Re: Season 3, The First Draft - Speculation etc.

Just process of elimination. I think the most logical theories have been that it’s either Jeffries or Judy. Mark confirmed explicitly that it’s not actually Jeffries. He also drops one further tidbit: the caller is trying to get info from Mr. C to gain access to someone’s location. I took this to m...

Re: Season 3, The First Draft - Speculation etc.

FWIW, I take his answer about Mr. C’s phone call as pretty definitely stating that the person on the other end of the line is Judy/Joudy impersonating Jeffries in order to find Briggs. I'm curious why you think that? Not disagreeing, would just love more of your thoughts on it. I remember the big t...

Re: Conversations With Mark Frost: Twin Peaks, Hill Street Blues, and the Education of a Writer

It's also clear to me that the deficiencies of S3, such as they are, are basically down to Lynch. Frost had a very clear picture of what was happening in the show, and how it built on the previous one, and I sense that he would have been happy to have more exposition in the show. I loved S3 in gene...

Re: Conversations With Mark Frost: Twin Peaks, Hill Street Blues, and the Education of a Writer

It certainly doesn't sound to me like the two of them are particularly close and that it's mostly a professional relationship; Frost speaks respectfully of Lynch, but not warmly or affectionately. Absolutely the case from what I've read so far, as well. We all have coworkers we aren't friends with ...
