Re: Creative countdown to the book's release
actually, the last one reminded of Coop in his casino attire (plus KM's later longer hair). did you subconsciously think of a new eeason with this?

Re: SPOILERS: The Secret History of Twin Peaks
Expected by most People but still a delightful revelation since he's my favorite character hahaha, do we get to know what happens to him? I am skipping and skimming around in my excitement - I really need to get food and coffee - but no, I don't think we do. Based on how the book ends I question ho...

Re: NON SPOILERS: Twin Peaks: Season 3 on Showtime Thread
Yeah, ok - but Audrey/SF WAS the face of the show (top5 or whatever, top3 maybe when dallying with Cooper) and an over-the-top female icon back at the time when the show became the huge phenomena that it was (and sort of receded only when the show started transforming itself, both qualitatively and ...

Re: SPOILERS: The Secret History of Twin Peaks
At least the bank explosion did happen in reality then (and will not be a dream precursor to a so-called dreamlike atomic bomb explosion in S3) :) Re mill - could have been a leaseback agreement or smth (Ben buys and rents it back to Catherine with full rights for exploiting, [edtd] or vice versa), ...

Re: Does Anyone Dislike Episode 29?
Is it weird that I almost miss the way that Episode 29 felt before we knew we'd be getting new episodes? Watching for the first time in 2009, or subsequent rewatches in 2011-2013 and such, that ending was SUCH a kick in the face, I mean it hurt but the power and the audacity and bitterness and dark...

Re: Does Anyone Dislike Episode 29?
Yeah, true that his character could have been more developed from a guy brilliant, but in a down-to-earth and maybe slightly liberally mannered way, he seemed pre-lodge on the 'dugpas they're called' tapings and mlmt. It does seem that there is a lack of an intrinsic hook for him to become connected...

Re: Does Anyone Dislike Episode 29?
One could argue that Earle can still be considered (without overthinking it, since the relative weight of the character indeed ended up light) a highly successful mcguffin because of the way successful mcguffins are, helping achieve more important goals as they do even if unintentionally/in hindsigh...

Re: SPOILERS: The Secret History of Twin Peaks
Well now, that WAS exactly what I meant ... but that is a spoiler then, and one perhaps speaking at least partially to the worries above re continuity. Would be two - at least - objects (missing stuff) pertaining to the same object of inquiry that is the book, and hence most likely the non-accidenta...

Re: SPOILERS: The Secret History of Twin Peaks
Also, prev the date of the ending of season 2 has been discussed below - http://www.dugpa.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=2526 and was guessed to be either march 27 or 28 (morning, if correct, in coop's room). is it confirned either way in the book, hopefully not too big of a spoiler if any (still...

Re: SPOILERS: The Secret History of Twin Peaks
I seem to remember reading somewhere that there was supposed to be 'another' Twin Peaks that was accessible somehow and would feature in the originally planned third season. Maybe that's what all the talk about everyone being still alive was about at the end of season two. If it is this - i.e. a mu...

Re: SPOILERS: The Secret History of Twin Peaks
Oh, but there IS fish in the percolator, there should be, 1984 year thing eg shows it seems.
[edtd] Plus the ones who have read the thing already indicated abovr that it would appear that there is at least a possibility that we are getting vol 2 with years 1989-2014 before s3

Re: SPOILERS: The Secret History of Twin Peaks
Re alternative timelines - it is obviously part of fun speculating on new season (and there are elements of at least potentially retroactively changing universes, such as coop advising laura on not taking thering in fwwm post his lodge abduction, if it is indeed a post- one). But there do not seem t...

Re: The Secret History of Twin Peaks (SPOILERS)
Fascinating for those who've read the leaked pages: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meriwether_Lewis#Death In the suppressed history of america: murder of meriwether lewis self-pr'ed alternative history researchers haze and schrag, apart from presenting pro-murder arguments, also detail memoirs by a ...
