She wasn't on the official cast list that came out a few months ago was she?
Gives us some hope for others who weren't on it returning

I know, it's a shame, I'm in the UK too. Torrents are your friend in the meantimePed wrote: I've been trying to scope out your own recommendation American Crime. Just found out that nowhere in the UK has picked this up yet. That's a shame because it has got rave review from what I see.

Re: The Laura Palmer Project
Excellent detective work!
Is it sad/pathetic that I want to read that now? 'Yes' - The World.

Re: Recommendations for Watching While Waiting for Season 3
TV shows from the last year or so I would recommend are: Halt and Catch Fire (US), The Affair (US), Trapped (Iceland), The Legacy (Denmark), Broadchurch (UK), Marcella (UK), Looking (US), Togetherness (US), Transparent (US), Top Of The Lake (NZ), Gomorrah (Italy), The Tunnel (France/UK) to name but...

This is one of my all-time fave films; I think we have very similar tastes (plus, like you, I'm all about Laura)Nightsea wrote:River's Edge (this one is veryyyyyy Twin Peaks-esque and came out around the same time I think)

Re: Recommendations for Watching While Waiting for Season 3
One of my very favorite films! The dialogue in Exotica is some of the best written and most natural sounding dialogue that I've ever heard in a film. Hurrah! The actual look of White Bird is gorgeous. All of the ingredients are there, but for whatever reason it just didn't gel together as a whole. ...

Re: Recommendations for Watching While Waiting for Season 3
Excellent suggestions. In regard to White Bird In a Blizzard , I was disappointed too. It didn't quite work for a variety of reasons. The staging and blocking of actors within scenes really seemed off and the cinematography was uninspired. It was as if Araki's heart wasn't in it and he was on autop...

Excellent! I read the book a couple of weeks ago in a few hours and absolutely loved it - I still miss the magazine. Looking forward to reading your interview.

"There was this picture that felt right. So we had Sheryl Lee come in, but she didn't look exactly like her picture." Does anyone know for sure which photograph of Sheryl Lee that Lynch first saw that inspired him to audition her (in the unique way that he does)? Sounds like this photo ca...

Re: The Unorthodox/Controversial TP Opinion Thread
Harold's Theme is my favorite motif in the show. You can just sink into it. It instantly summons up a warm, melancholy feeling of sinking into a mystery: looking around the town's landscape on a rainy, misty day and wondering what secrets hover behind each door. It's romantic - maybe Romantic - in ...

Re: Recommendations for Watching While Waiting for Season 3
In the void between now and the new season of Twin Peaks I would totally recommend the following: American Crime - Season 2. It’s a stand-alone season so you don’t need to have watched the first season (because I haven’t either). This season focuses on male rape within a middle class American high s...

Short video of Sheryl Lee reading diary extracts (1990)
Hey, thought you guys might be interested in viewing my youtube video which i posted earlier, using parts of the audio from Alan Thicke's TV show on Twin Peaks, where Sheryl's voice is heard reading from the diary. I wonder if there is a recording of her reading the whole thing? In the meantime, enj...
