Re: Twin Peaks on Blu-Ray DVD Official Discussion Thread

Is it still not confirmed whether the UK set will be identical to the US in terms of content?

They did for the Gold Box, that's what worries me.

Is there any confirmation that the UK will have all the same extras featured on the US set?

Re: Twin Peaks on Blu-Ray DVD Official Discussion Thread

My two burning questions...

1.) Will the BD have the show original stereo as an audio option?

2.) Is the UK release identical to the US release in terms of content, audio options and packaging?

Right now I'm importing the US release but will switch to the UK version if it's identical.

Re: Josie the Shooter

On my first watch through of the series I thought that the shooter was going to be Windom Earle. The way they started bringing him up in S2 all of a sudden, he has a personal connection to Coop and the shooter mystery was still hanging - I thought that was the obvious way to tie it all up.

Re: Kyle MacLachlan discussing Twin Peaks vs. Desperate Hous

Marc Cherry was a little harsh on Twin Peaks there I felt. Especially when you consider that Season 2 of TP will be better remembered culturally than the whole of Desperate Housewives.

Re: Twin Peaks reboot in the works?

As promising as the NBC exec quote was - the quote from Lynch's daughter was pretty definitive. Also Frost made a semi derogatory remark about NBC on Twitter a couple of days ago.

Re: Twin Peaks reboot in the works?

Thinking of it a little bit, I think one way to deal with the Lodges without ruining the mystery, would be to have Windom Earle return, still stuck in the Black Lodge, but he has somehow (not sure what the backstory would be here) have gained some power there and he begins to 'infect' Twin Peaks wit...
