Re: SPOILERS: The Secret History of Twin Peaks

I guess we'll have to start a continuity error list/thread... This is a good idea, if they are actual errors. However, for the moment I'm in the 'it's all deliberate and we'll find out soon what the meaning of all this is'-camp. Maybe the archivist just made some mistakes... If it would turn out th...

Re: Twin Peaks Poll - First Time

I think it was 1992 or 1993 on a Belgian channel. Don't know if that was the first airing of TP in Belgium or if it was a rerun.

Maybe you should add: 'airing outside of the US in the 90's'.

Re: 'The Secret History of Twin Peaks' novel by M. Frost 10/18

Are people going to stay off the board until they finish reading? I know I am! :) I really want to avoid spoilers from the book and be as much surprised by it as can be. Moondog Jr? A fan of the Belgian band? Jep! One of my favourite all time bands :) They still exist and are now called Zita Swoon ...

Re: Episode Guide

Just for fun, I made a ranking of the episodes based on how they are rated on our beloved ( ) imdb and translated it to the names the episodes are given on this subforum. Tadaaaa: 1. Episode 14: 9,4 2. Episode 16: 9,3 Episode 29: 9,3 4. Episode 7: 9,2 5. Episode 8 (season 2 premiere): 9,1 6. ...

A (possible) second book! YES! :D
Honestly, I don't care whether the first book covers the events after season 2 or not.
We are just so lucky all this is happening. I'll take all the TP I can get!
If I may formulate one desire: I hope both books will be released before the new series air.

Re: 'The Secret History of Twin Peaks' novel by M. Frost 10/18

Since the announcement of the book's release date I found it strange the release date was so far away from the period annouced in which the series will premiere. A second volume about the gap between the last episode of season 2 and now, released closer to, lets say, april/may 2017 makes perfect sen...

Re: 'The Secret History of Twin Peaks' novel by M. Frost 10/18

That still doesn't get Lynch off the hook for maybe giving us a teaser next month at his Festival of Disruption, though!* (* - I fear it's even less likely if they're holding another book in reserve til next year.) Lynch did kind of hint at something TP related happening in his message about the co...

Re: The Pilot

For years and years and years, I always thought Sheryl Lee played yet another character -I thought she played the attendent at the bank who shows Cooper and Truman the safety deposit box. The "Oh, it fell down" girl. When I was set straight, I admit I'm always a little disappointed that i...

Re: Recommendations for Watching While Waiting for Season 3

I recently finished watching True Detective (season 2), Les Revenants (season 2) and am now watching Fargo (season 1). All good!

My personal favourites (besides Twin Peaks) are Carnivàle, Riget (The Kingdom) and Deadwood.
