I hope I'm not spoiling anything when I tell you the simple explanation is it's about David's fear of being a father for the first time. He made the movie when his daughter, Jennifer, was born. That would definitely make sense. But...I thought I read that Lynch said that he has never heard a correc...

I watched Eraserhead for the first time last night, and I really don't know what to make of it. I guess the point of the film is lost on me, unless it is to make the audience as uncomfortable as the characters appear to be. I like the imagery with the guy pulling the cranks, and some of the other sc...

Amazon dropped the price to $64.99 today  Did anyone notice that, in addition to the video, a cherry pie recipe was added? Maybe it's just me, but it seems like Amazon is putting a lot of effort into this release (yay!). And the boxset is now in the DVD top 50 :P

I've rented a lot of TV on DVD, and four episodes per disc is pretty typical. I've noticed that HBO usually limits the number of episodes to three at most, but just about all of the other producers place four episodes on each disc. So I'm happy with the current layout, but then again, I don't consid...

Me, too. I only watch TV on DVD.

I forgot to mention that I also enjoy Arrested Development, Seinfeld, and British version of The Office (haven't seen the American version yet).

Amazon added a fun little video with lots of clips involving coffee :D I also noticed that this boxset is now in the DVD top 100.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer is my favorite show of all time. I think it's a really entertaining show because it has a little of everything...drama, comedy, adventure, romance, fantasy, etc. And I love all four main characters. They have an amazing bond, and it's awesome watching them fight the forces o...

You're right. McFarlane is very skilled at capturing likenesses, for the most part. NECA is good, too, and it has a line called Cult Classics. Maybe one of the two companies will release a few Twin Peaks figures one day. Crazier things have happened.

Audrey, I was reading your comments over at Twin Peaks Gazette, and I totally agree that Agent Cooper should have entered the Black Lodge to rescue Audrey, not Annie. Narratively, it would have made the most sense. It would have been a satisfying continuation (or conclusion) of the Audrey/Cooper rel...

But who's to say it wouldn't be more interesting to switch the way the structure is from who killed Laura Palmer to now what/when will BOB/Leland strike next? Good point. I think that would have worked a lot better than revealing the killer mid-season. The second season would have flowed much bette...

First, I would have waited until the end of the second season AT EARLIEST to reveal Laura's killer. In my opinion, season 2 feels anti-climactic as a result of the decision to reveal the killer mid-season. The Windom Earle arc is simply not as strong as the who-killed-Laura-Palmer arc. The Earle arc...

I wish Sideshow Collectibles would pick up the Twin Peaks license and release a few 12-inch and Premium Format figures. I'd especially like a PF Agent Cooper with a doppelganger change-o-head. I won't hold my breath...

As long as Lynch or Frost is involved, I'd love to see a comic or graphic novel get produced. I'm not fond of the season 2 cliffhanger, and I believe that Twin Peaks and its fans deserve a greater level of resolution. That said, I think season 3 should pick up where the second season left off, not 1...

I agree that the gold cover doesn't seem representative of the series. I'd expect to see this type of presentation on a James Bond box set, not a Twin Peaks one. I also preferred the original, unconfirmed box set title, "The Complete Mystery." Oh well...It still sounds like this set is goi...
