Re: Theories & Speculation (SPOILERS)

Posted this in the Part 5 topic but perhaps it's better here: Calling it now: I think that Nadine is now rich from her silent drape-runners. Check out her room, the fancy chair, the drapes, the office desk and computer set-up - along with a fabric sample book sat on her desk. Also her hair and cloth...

Calling it now: I think that Nadine is now rich from her silent drape-runners. Check out her room, the fancy chair, the drapes, the office desk and computer set-up - along with a fabric sample book sat on her desk. Also her hair and clothes etc. are perhaps subtlety implying money. She's gone into b...

Theories & Speculation (SPOILERS)

The security guard looking after "the cube" looked like his right eye was glassed over. Anyone else notice this? It's constantly in shadow so difficult to see.

Re: Theories & Speculation (SPOILERS)

I agree that there's something amiss with the two Hawk/Log Lady scenes.

Even the repetition of "Goodnight Margaret" seems strange. "Goodnight" is a kinda shorthand for "see you tomorrow" and the fact he says it twice is strange IMO.

Re: Wally Brando Appreciation Society (SPOILERS)

Absolutely love Wally! Hope we see a lot more of him in S3.

The dialogue was pure Frost to me -- reminded me of the classic Albert/Truman speech and the over dialogued Window Earle scenes on S2.

Plus I think it gets even funnier the more you watch it.

Re: Parts 1 + 2 (SPOILERS)

Another thing I've been thinking about... When Lynch/Frost created Twin Peaks, soap operas where the "in" thing. S1/S2 went great lengths to lampoon, subvert and include the trappings of those soap operas. Well the television landscape has altered and "long form storytelling" ha...

Re: Parts 1 + 2 (SPOILERS)

I have not read every single post thoroughly so apologies if this has already been mentioned but in the scene in the black lodge where Laura kisses Dale I can hear the word "whisper" being said and then as she leans in to whisper in his ear there is a slight murmur and I can hear "wh...

Yeah, hate both of those. Removes the atmosphere from the scenes somehow.

Parts 1 + 2 (Spoilers)

One thing I noticed is that there's not many close up shots of the actors. Instead Lynch is going for more mid-shots... I wonder if that is having an effect on some people empathising with the characters?

Re: No Spoilers Poll: Thumbs Up, Thumbs Down or 'Meh' On S3?

Posting on Tapatalk so can't see if there's an actual poll in the OP, however it gets a thumbs up from me.

A-typical Lynch which for me means that it's shocking but it stays with you and "grows" in your mind.

Re: Parts 3 + 4 (Spoilers)

Just saw Part 4 - perhaps my favourite of all the parts so far. Some very funny stuff in there, I needed a comedic break from the darkness of the last three parts! The tinted blue "Blue Rose" scene between Albert and Gordon might just be my favourite scene from the reboot so far... "A...

Re: NON SPOILERS: Twin Peaks: Season 3 on Showtime Thread

I must agree that the marketing angle was a mistake -- they should have been framing the central questions of the show for a new audience rather than being so damn mysterious. I don't think that kind of campaign would've ruined any sense of mystery for the fan base. Agreed. ABC gets a lot of flack ...
