Re: Twin Peaks on Blu-Ray DVD Official Discussion Thread

For me VHS definitely rules! :) I think, everyone has a right to stick to one's own taste. In art there is no place for authorities. Let's hope, the chosen picture transfer will work, but I am really curious, to which extend all three colour timings are true to the original, if we can talk at all ab...

I really hope, that the picture will look a bit differently on the discs/ Ich hoffe wirklich, dass das Bild auf den Disks ein bisschen anders aussehen wird :)

Re: How was Leland wounded?

It was self-inflicted, he used his own blood to write the "Fire walk with me" note... What bothers me here, is that his wound is a way too severe to be self-inflicted to write his message. I can't really imagine, that he stabbbed himself with a knife in his abdomen so that he had to go an...

Re: Twin Peaks on Blu-Ray DVD Official Discussion Thread

I know, that Lynch was fully involved in the remastering process, as he was supervising the work on Gold Box. But the colour timing of the Gold Box release is different. So the fact, that Lynch was involved doesn't necessarily mean, that the picture transfer will be true to original. Anyway I hope, ...

Re: Twin Peaks on Blu-Ray DVD Official Discussion Thread

What do you think about the colours of the upcoming release? Won't they be a way too warm/oversaturated? I haven't watched any videos, but having looked at some caps on welcometotwinpeaks and amazon I feel a bit concerned, whether the colours will be conveyed as they originally were :?: Besides it w...

Re: Twin Peaks on Blu-Ray DVD Official Discussion Thread

I personally would love to see the full Project Blue Book video as much as the picnic scene and the footage of Horne Brothers  In my view Windom Earle is a fantastic character. What I like most about him is that NOBODY was able to gain the upper hand over him, even Cooper, contradicting the co...

Re: FWWM questions (probably asked before but what the hell)

I think, Chet Desmond's excessive attention to the ring is explainable by the intuitive approach this agent maybe subconsciously or intentionally (or both) relies on. We remember that ,,he's got his own MO - modus operandi". In this respect he is much alike Dale Cooper, who always uses his intu...

Re: Twin Peaks on Blu-Ray DVD Official Discussion Thread

it's a pity then, that it wasn't actually a new shot. But I still hope, that the extended cut of the scene exists as it was mentioned by Dugpa referring to the statements of Michael J. Anderson and Ron Garcia. More than that the scene should include much unscripted stuff and be allegedly about 20 mi...

Re: Deleted Scenes from the TV Series

Great work! It's a pity, that I can't appreciate it to the full extend, because I haven't read all the scripts of the series yet. But the whole agitation triggered my wish to do it after visiting TWIN PEAKS again. By the way where does the information about the possibly deleted scenes of ep.7 come f...

Re: Deleted Scenes from the TV Series

it's funny, how human psychology works. We haven't even seen the deleted scenes from FWWM yet, but the focus of interest seems gradually to be shifting towards the deleted scenes from the series...The appetites of real TP fans are huge and can hardly be appeased. That's for sure.

Re: Twin Peaks on Blu-Ray DVD Official Discussion Thread

BIG thanks qbin2001!!! The shot of LMFAP sounds very intriguing. I was quite worried about the existence of that extended scene, but reading the comment posted on imdb by the person, who allegedly watched the deleted scenes, made me sure, that the extended scene above the convenience store does real...

Re: Twin Peaks on Blu-Ray DVD Official Discussion Thread

I wonder who invented these teasers...I think, they can only spoil the whole impression of the release. I'm still resisting my own momentum except that I watched the trailer with the deleted scenes of course :)

Re: Deleted Scenes from the TV Series

I've just realized, that those mentioned scenes can be found on the DVD-compilation, which was once uploaded here: http://www.dugpa.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1376&hilit=torrent I have this compilation on my old computer, but I've never watched it due to my promise not to watch anything f...
