The shot of Jeffries on a stairway with the burned wall behind him (presumably when he reappears in Buenos Aires) looks to me upgraded, the special effects I mean, like it was slighly CGI'd for this release... Good thing you pointed out one detail for me I haven't thought of before. Like Lost, where the series opens with the eye opening and close with the eye closing, I have never considered that Lynch maybe did this on purpose in Twin Peaks too.
