Re: I'll see you again in 25 years

I think, TWIN PEAKS can't have a stable end(no matter, whether it is good or bad). I perceive it, as if one opened the window, just a bit, to show us the other side of the reality. After a glimpse it was closed to echo in our dreams. I think, the destiny of TWIN PEAKS proved it. If we knew more abou...

Re: Twin Peaks Turns 20

DAVID LYNCH MUST RELEASE THE DELETED SCENES!!! It is the only thing I'm eager to watch. The date seems to be very suitable!
I hope, that the full FBI Office/Buenos Aires/Convenience Store sequence and the end really exist in their complete form.

Re: I'll see you again in 25 years

I think, it's the only way the series could end taking into account, that there was no third season. But since I read the complete script of TWIN PEAKS: FIRE WALK WITH ME I realised for myself, that the film ending is actually the end of the whole seen TWIN PEAKS. I suppose, Lynch felt the abruptnes...

Re: I'll see you again in 25 years

I think, there is no return to TWIN PEAKS. It is a masterpiece, that's why it should be left in peace. It is hardly possible because of the casting at least. And TWIN PEAKS is such a masterpiece, which won't let make any compromise. I suppose, David Lynch tried to put an end to the story, which we sa...

Re: Praise for the Second Season

I'm from Russia. I saw TWIN PEAKS as I was 8 in 1993. It was the first broadcast. And it's amazing, that almost everything I felt at that time about TWIN PEAKS remained with me including my love with such a great chess master and Black Lodge searcher. And I'm very glad about it. 8)

Re: Praise for the Second Season

I think, you are right about the cartoonishness of Earle. But if one looks a bit further, a lot of characters are very expressionistic. Ben Horne, Jerry Horne, Leland ( even if he is possesed by BOB) and many others. And Cooper isn't an exception. The behavior and the emotional expression of Audrey ...

Re: Praise for the Second Season

Personally I wouldn't call him ,,standard". We actually don't really know, what happened to him in the past leading him to such a madness. Even Cooper doesn't know it for sure. I like the scene of 29 episode very much, when Earle is sitting near the computer, realising, that the petroglyph is a...

Re: Praise for the Second Season

I wouldn't regard the second season as something, which is noticeably worse, than the first season. I know, some people do so. Here's my opinion: One shouldn't forget, that the whole mystery begins to envelope just in the second season. I agree, that the nature of some characters was changed. But as...

Re: Who's voice said ,,Judy"?

Thank you, I think it's Bowie's voice too. There is also a certain connection between Phillip Jeffries and Piere Tremond. Both of them pointed at BOB with the finger.
As Jeffries pointed at Cooper, the mask appeared.

Re: Artisan vs Gold Box quality

Thank you very much for this reply, :D
Recently I found such opinion in one article, that the picture by Artisan is a bit oversaturated.
Then the Gold Box quality is better thou!!!

Artisan vs Gold Box quality

Today I found one comment in the net, where the Artisan quality of Season One is considered to be better than the Gox Box one.
What do you think about it? I actually thought, that the quality is identical.
Please, tell me, if it is true. :?:

Who's voice said ,,Judy"?

Does anybody know, who's voice actually said ,,Judy". I think, I don't know, why, that it can be David Bowie's voice.

Re: I need some language help with the "Fell a victim" phrase

garethw, thank you very much for your reply. Only now I have discovered your post. I think, that kind of interpretation is very close to the movie. All the time the word ,,victim" was associated by me somehow with a girl, who is to be murdered. But having such interpretation, not a girl is a vi...

I need some language help with the "Fell a victim" phrase

Hi, I have a question about the 'Fell a victim' phrase. English is not my native language. Can anybody help me to figure out the literally meaning of that phrase. In my opinion, not being a native speaker, there can be only two options to understand this sentence: 1. The subject was omitted (in that...
