Re: Part 18 - What is your name? (SPOILERS)

Further down the lane, at the front door of Carrie Page. Why didn't he give it a ring at the door, albeit knock on the door instead? Why was Carrie's first question "Did you find him?" Did she mean the dead guy in her living room? All in all why didn't Cooper react in accordance to his pr...

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)

This post from page 328 should be one those pinned to the thread, if it were possible, alongside some of the earlier posts from judasbooth and David Locke: Someone close to Lynch (like the co-creator of the damn thing) should have advised him at least about what NOT to do. I'm thinking about the mo...

Re: POLL: The Nature of Audrey's Situation (Spoilers)

Sherilyn said she was crying and shaking when she read what was originally written for Audrey. Based on what Mark Frost said her original story was, I'm thinking being assaulted by her son who was a product of rape is what shook her.

Re: Theories & Speculation (SPOILERS)

I think you are onto something. It would be the mother rather than Coop Mr.C was seeking out, both according to his other actions this season and the use of sex magicks. I re-watched the scene and although Sam is the one who asks to make out, Tracey is the one who escalates things to the next level...

Re: Two birds with one stone

This is interesting. The closest I could come up with is Mr C letting Richard fry being a subversive version of this. Not sure what it means though. Thanks for posting.

Re: What Did Laura Whisper?

The best theory I've read was that Laura whispers the same thing she did in the original show 'My father killed me' because Cooper is still stuck in a loop. He's shocked at the end because he thought he changed the past with her being killed, but he really didn't.

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)

I think that the term "nostalgia" is a misnomer when it comes to describing people's expectations for S3. The majority of those who watched and enjoyed the original seasons, as far as I can tell, always wanted a continuation to happen. It's not a yearning for something from one's youth th...

Re: Mark Frost's Contributions to TP:TR (Speculation)

Nevertheless, she meddled behind the camera. And she tweeted some stuff that was rather insulting to some fellow cast members, to Kimmy Robertson, for instance (something about her attire, I don't remember exactly). Plus, she enviously directed her anger at MacLachlan for being the one with the lar...

Re: Final Dossier Spoilers

Nothing on Janey-E and Diane? For characters that got a lot of screen time in the return, you'd think we might get some backstory on them, but I guess not.

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)

Does anyone remember in the old spoiler thread someone posted a screenshot from the imdb boards saying that Lynch pitched Twin Peaks to NBC? Granted I don't know if it was true, but it said something like Lynch was amenent it would open with a recreation of the original red room sequence in episode ...

Re: POLL: The Nature of Audrey's Situation (Spoilers)

It was said by doc Hayward that Audrey was in a coma, and there seems no doubt to disbelieve his words in any way. In S1/S2 for a long long time Ronette stayed in a hospital bed, in coma. Did she ever really wake up? Yes, Ronette showed up in the season 2 finale briefly at the beginning in the poli...

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)

I liked part 18, my only issue was how disconnected it felt from the previous 16-17 hours. Did we really need Dougie for 16 parts? I still don't get the point of that whole thing other than Lynch wanting to finally do Ronnie Rocket. If we saw some sort of journey, self-actualization or insight into ...

Re: POLL: The Nature of Audrey's Situation (Spoilers)

I think most of us in the coma camp are saying she said "What?" to her mind realizing she's not in the world of being married to Charlie. The mirror scene is what she really looks like- but her physical body is still in a coma, her mind/soul is in a white room, lodge prison. And that's th...

Re: The little girl who lives down the lane (1976 film)

The connection I made was that Jodie Foster's character basically becomes a murderer to avoid being abused, which might explain the random dead dude in Carrie's house, or even Audrey choking Charlie. Audrey and Charlie also mention they have a 'contract' in the movie JF uses the knowledge she murder...
