Superb scene so a-typical of Lynch. Set up in a mundane way, (father and son randomnly meet); then it just goes a direction you don't expect and you feel the extreme emotion of the piece just rising. Seconded, great choice.

Goes without saying in my case -- but great finds all, Audrey! Just finished watching season one there last night. Heart-breaking to think the next season can't keep up the consistent quality in a run of episodes.

Will never happen. First off, it's clear Lynch has some sort of definite say in any Twin Peaks continuation, look at the proposed season three graphic novel for the Gold Set for instance. I think the final episode easily stands as a great Lynch work independent of the series, and an overlooked one at that. Great example as to why, Jer.
