What about Carnivale? The last episode of season 2 was mind-blowing and then the show got cancelled. Felt the same like Twin Peaks, knowing that the series could have delved into weird, wicked and wonderful territory, only to be ended prematurely. Finished it. All in all a wonderful read. Really liked the beginning, because it delved more into the mystery/supernatural than plain, old UFO's. I didn't mind the UFO bits as much as others. Book landed yesterday. Read the first passage (Lewis). Very interesting. Love the aesthetics of the book and wonder where it will lead (probably to a bunch of questions).
