Re: FINAL POLL!!!!!!! Your Reaction to The Return as a Complete Work
Just check the page for how few threads there are about the audio/visual aspect (which is why many people fell in love with the show in the first place) - and verbalization of personal experiences - on this forum. It's mostly all about the mythology, or theoretical musings about the 'plot' or 'symb...

Re: Different Twin Peaks podcasts
On a side note, I just listened to Brad Duke's episode on part 17 and it was very cathartic to hear someone so prominent in the Twin Peaks fandom have all the same issues I have with it. Made me feel less alone, which is something other people have said about our podcast. So now I know how they fee...

Is there a reason this couldn't be lumped in with one of the two larger threads on the subject?

Is the "BadCoop is really just a swell guy" the new "Big Ed is black lodge denizen in frame 2,574" of this episode?

Re: Part 15 - There's some fear in letting go (SPOILERS)
Explain to me how having quirky Cooper come back after 25 years of his life being gone, and his evil twin out in the world performing unspeakable evil, would make any sense whatsoever. I'm just wondering what is so unspeakably evil about evil coop...half the characters on the show seem to be more e...

Re: Part 15 - There's some fear in letting go (SPOILERS)
I can't imagine the old Dale Cooper fitting in very well on this new show. Cooper was always proactive (except maybe in parts of season 2). He wouldn't fit in with the Cole's team who just sit around talking now and wasting time. I'm afraid they wouldn't be able to write snappy dialogue for Cooper ...

I never understood why that theory was so strong. I know people thought it was strange that Hawk didn't mention it (onscreen anyway) to anyone, but I didn't find it that strange. I've been very critical of some of the narrative choices made in the new series, and you could chalk this down to being ...

I really hated the green glove scene. The rest of it was outstanding. I can't for the life of me figure out if Lynch/Frost deliberately portray him as an idiot for comedic effect, or he just comes across that way naturally. I mean who the hell tells a woman's husband "I... I just like her!!&qu...

Which musicians are left at this point? I know Cruise and Vedder but who else? Can't remember. The Veils. Just released a phenomenal album last year: Total Depravity. Lots of connections with the new season can be found on it. Really hope In The Nightfall is the song performed. It's got such a Peak...

Hmmmm... it to me she seemed genuinely oblivious to what had happened when she just bit that guys neck off, which is hinting towards a more classic a-la Leland possession. At first, yes. But she became menacing again after the bartender said "we'll see about this." exactly.. i thought it ...
