Beautiful eulogy, I can hear it in Coulson's voice in my head.

Re: Showtime to Re-broadcast Original Series Early Next Year
Oh gosh, no widescreen cropping please ! ! I don't think Lynch would allow it.
I admired & appreciated the work that went into the fanedit "Northwest Passage", but I found the cropping made it unwatchable. It throws the framing off really badly.

Re: The Random Twin Peaks Thread
So I just watched episode 20, and I am baffled by a particular scene at the Hurley residence. Norma kisses Ed goodbye and leaves. The second the door closes, Ed turns around and somehow Hank is standing right there, just a few feet away from him (he then attacks him). It is very jarring - perhaps an...

Re: What happened to Donna? (Casting Spoilers)
My ideal scenario...
Donna is recast. Let's say Lisa Coronado. Maybe not a big part, but she somehow is involved in the supernatural side of things. She's in the lodge. Opens the curtain, comes face to face with Lara Flynn Boyle and Moira Kelly.

Re: missing pieces/between two worlds on DVD?
I am always a little uncomfortable with the idea of fans being expected to buy something they already own in order to get access to new material. My family owns the season 1 and season 2 box sets, and I bought the gold box several years back. The picture and sound quality on them is already very hig...

Re: Possible SPOILERS: S3 casting & returning actors/charact
I believe Aarons is still rumoured as one of the unlisted names. Which leads me to believe if she appears it will be something freaky like her terrifying role in Mulholland Dr. She's got one of the best faces ever.

Plus some kind of response to Maddy's death. Another huge void.

Re: Your reactions when the first episode hits
My only requirement is to be alone, ha. I'll enjoy rewatching with family/friends, but I gotta be alone the first time I see each episode.

If Duchovny returns, it will be interesting how they handle his character, with so much recent mainstream awareness of trans issues and such.
It would be neat to have another LGBT character or two in the show.

Re: unanswered questions / mistakes / etc.
This is probably a misunderstanding on my part, but I have trouble making sense of the whole doppelganger / possession / parasite thing. [To start, I'm of the camp that Leland is not simply but possessed by BOB, but partially culpable or at least aware of what he's doing, as suggested by FWWM.] At t...

Re: unanswered questions / mistakes / etc.
This might be a really dumb question, but I'll go ahead.
The phrase "Fire Walk With Me" - is it regarding firewalking, or is it an invitation for fire to walk with the speaker?
It always seemed to me to be the latter, that the characters were saying "Fire, walk with me"

Pretty sure Dern is most certainly not playing BOB, but yeah, that would be awesome.
I mean some of those moments in INLAND EMPIRE were very BOB-esque.

Re: Episode 29
The first time I saw this episode, I was home alone on a Friday night when I was about 16. I'd just watched episodes 26-28 back to back and it was definitely a slog to get through them, but I simply needed to know how it ended. Then came #29... I was so delighted as it unfolded - it felt like Twin P...
