I think the lady works for Macmillan, which is the UK publisher.

What we do know is that there are physical copies in London right now

Indeed. This does happen.
True. True.
Yeah did Universal not intentionally leak the season 2 premiere of Mr. Robot online a few days before schedule to keep in line with the hacking themes and what not? Good PR I say.

Re: 'The Secret History of Twin Peaks' novel by M. Frost 10/18

Anyone else here not at all bothered by the forthcoming audiobook of the novel? I know from here and Twitter there has been talk of getting both print and audio versions. Don't get me wrong, I totally welcome the audiobook. They have a place in media, not just for the blind and partially sighted but...

Re: Recommendations for Watching While Waiting for Season 3

Just caught up on S1 of The Fall (UK) with Gillian Anderson and Jamie Dornan. Set in Belfast with a twist to the usual murder mysteries in that the viewer knows the killers identity from the off. It gets under your skin as really creepy viewing without being overly graphic. S2 begins tonight. Recomm...

Native American defo looks like Crazy Horse from what I can remember. Probably hinting at Hawks mythology with the woods and his people. Journal scraps likely to be Lewis and Clarks diary entries? Cannot wait for this book. Countdown is on!

Re: Recommendations for Watching While Waiting for Season 3

TV shows from the last year or so I would recommend are: Halt and Catch Fire (US), The Affair (US), Trapped (Iceland), The Legacy (Denmark), Broadchurch (UK), Marcella (UK), Looking (US), Togetherness (US), Transparent (US), Top Of The Lake (NZ), Gomorrah (Italy), The Tunnel (France/UK) to name but...

Re: Recommendations for Watching While Waiting for Season 3

Did any of you ever catch the UK channel 4 show Utopia a couple or so years back? I think it would go down well with the TP crowd. It's actually nothing like Twin Peaks but it was definitely labelled "cult" here. It's about a group of folk who meet online to obsess over a graphic novel cal...

Re: Recommendations for Watching While Waiting for Season 3

'Riget' (The Kingdom) and 'Carnivale' are the two series that have come closest to giving me that Twin Peaks feeling, but are very unique in their own right. Interesting that they too ended prematurely with only 2 seasons! I really liked 'Top of the Lake', too. I really liked Top Of The Lake too. D...

Re: The Unorthodox/Controversial TP Opinion Thread

I don't usually like dissing the lesser appreciated pets of Twin Peaks. It's my favourite show for not only the groundbreaking storyline and mythology, but for the controversies surrounding the show itself. The weaker elements of late S2, the ratings drop and the 'indefinite hiatus' all play a part...

Re: Your reactions when the first episode hits

Would it be strange to say I'll try and keep it for the coming Saturday to enjoy it with a beer when the kids are down? In the UK I can guarantee we'll get it on Monday 9pm. The same time as Game Of Thrones and Vinyl or any other prime time. If the US gets it on Sunday night, we usually get it on Mo...

I've never read any of the Wrapped In Plastic mags so I'll defo be getting this. Should be a nice little stop gap to The Secret History book.

Smashing news. I was always buying it anyway but hopefully this news will please people who were down about it maybe not including the 25 year gap.
